"Thirds, 'yong chapter 2 nagawa mo ba?"
My groupmate Trina ask me about the paper that i did last night. Di ako natulog for this kahit na 10pm na kong nakarating ng Cainta kasi umuulan at sobrang traffic. Today is our defense for Mr. Bautista on one of my major subjects.
"Thirds, bakit ito 'yong topic? Di ba binago na natin two weeks ago 'to?"
I look at her. Kinabahan ako.
"What? This is our topic di ba?"
"Seems like he did not back read on our gc."
It was Claire who answered Trina.
"Thirdy! What have you done? How are we going to present it?" Trina is in the verge of crying looking at me.
Thirdy, anong ginawa mo?
"Ravena's group kayo na raw."
I look at the door and I see our class president glaring at our direction.
"Trina, Claire. Im sorry. I'll explain to Mr. Bautista. I promise di kayo sasabit dito."
We went to the classroom. I met our prof's eyes. He's glances are very intimidating that why nobody wants him to be the subjects prof. Pero malas namim kasi sa kanya nakaassign ang subject na 'to.
I look at Trina, naluluha na sya while Claire look pale.
"Good morning Sir. My apologies in advance --"
He cut my statement.
"What is it this time Mr. Ravena?" Kunot-noo nyang tanong sakin.
"Sir mali po 'yong chapter two namin. Mali po ako ng naresearch na RRL.Im sorry po Sir. I'll take the consequences wag nalang po ang groupmates ko."
I am teary-eyed. Praying that he will grant my request. Ang gulo ko ngayon, wag na sanang madamay mga kagroupo ko.
Trina is already crying while Claire is looking me. Inaalo nya si Trina.
"Ms. Del Mundo, stop crying and you Mr. Ravena, explain to me why it happened? Maupo kayo."
"Sir, its my fault po. Hindi po kasi ako nakaattend ng meeting namin last time so i told them po na i'll do the chapter two. I failed to read the messages in our group chat po kaya po kanina ko lang po nalaman na nagbago po kami ng topic. Sir, im sorry po please give me another chance."
"Mr. Ravena, you know exactly my stand about the students with extra curricular activities. You know that this is your semestral project and it holds 50% of your grade. Do you think you will pass?"
Babagsak ako. Sure na ko dito. Nagpunas ako ng luha then face Mr. Bautista again.
"I'll face the consequences of my action Sir, just spare my groupmates po from the jeopardy that i cause. Im sorry Claire ans Trina and to you Sir."
Mr. Bautista sigh and face my groupmates.
"Ms. Del Mundo and Ms. Cerio, you'll still present it even withour chapter two and you Mr. Ravena, im sorry but you will get a failing grade in this output."
I nod and leave the room. Dumiretso ako sa parking and i plan to go home to tell Mom and Dad about it.
Im sure im not gonna play this season.
