Introduction

Hello. I am Queen Elsa of Arendelle, but since this book is about you getting to know me, just call me Elsa. I am 21 years old, and I have a younger sister named Anna. 

One day, I accidentally struck Anna with my ice magic, an ability I was born with. Luckily the trolls my parents took Anna and me to were able to save Anna, but they took away Anna's memories of my power. After that incident, my parents shut the gates to Arendelle to keep my powers hidden, and I mainly stayed in my room, so Anna wouldn't find out. 

Years later, my parents died at sea on the way to a wedding. I kept my distance from Anna, even though I wished I could talk to her. 

Finally, I became old enough to be crowned queen. I was nervous that I would freeze something and everyone would know. Conceal, don't feel. Conceal, don't feel.

The ceremony went well. No one saw anything, and the orb and scepter barely froze! Then, it was time for the celebratory ball. 

Anna had met this guy, Hans, and she instantly fell in love. Hans asked her to marry him, and she said yes! Seriously! She got engaged to him when she just met him that day! Long story short, we got into an argument, Anna grabbed my glove, and I accidentally made icicles come up from the ballroom floor. I ran from the palace and up to the North Mountain, where I could be free to let it go.

Eventually, Anna found me. She told me I had left Arendelle in an eternal winter. She said I could just unfreeze it. But I had no idea how! I panicked, and accidentally struck Anna. Again. 

Anna and her friends (Kristoff, Sven, and Olaf) left. Mainly because I made a snow creature (whom Olaf called Marshmallow) to kick them out. 

Hans and his men found me and took me back to Arendelle. I escaped into the storm. 

Hans eventually found me, and told me that I had frozen Anna's heart, and that she was dead. I fell to the ground in grief. 

Suddenly, I heard Anna scream, "Elsa? No!"

I turned around and there was my sister. Frozen. I hugged her. She sacrificed herself for me. 

Suddenly, Anna started to thaw. Apparently, and act of true love can thaw a frozen heart, and Anna saving me from Hans was definitely an act of true love. Hearing Olaf say that made me realize that love can thaw Arendelle.
