The media in clusters were creating a chaos outside the High Court while waiting. When the case had Rishabh Sinha in it and Shivaay Singh Oberoi fighting against him, the news had to go viral and the fact that Shivaay Singh Oberoi was fighting for his ex girlfriend was indeed fire which spread insanely fast.

Shivaay, Aditya, Mallika and Annika with a scarf around her head marched their way through the crowd to reach the gates. On their way to the room where the hearing had to take place, Shivaay accidentally collided with Rishabh.

"My old friend!" Rishabh recalled placing a hand on Shivaay's shoulder.

"Fighting against your friend for a girl who left you heart broken. Tch Tch Tch, so bad." He spoke eyeing Annika who clutched Shivaay's sleeve tightly.

"I don't remember you as my friend Mr. Sinha. Now excuse us please." He removed Rishabh's hand from his shoulder and moved forward holding Annika's hand.

"You can be an extraordinary lawyer Mr. Oberoi but let me tell you one thing; you may have many counter arguments or proofs against me but after today's hearing, I am gonna be proved right and your girlfriend? No, ex girlfriend, maybe mistress or prostitute, or interestingly, secret wife. Tch, whoever she is, I really don't care would be proved guilty. She'd be sent to jail where I'll proceed with my plan. And trust me Shivaay, she knows very well, what's gonna happen today and in future. Yeah?" He spoke in a rather over confident tone and walked away.

Shivaay turned to Annika drinking all his anger and held her shoulders firmly.

"Is there something you forgot to tell us or whatever you told us was a lie." He asked sternly looking into her eyes and she looked away.

"I never asked you to be my lawyer first of all and secondly, I told what I wanted to." She told and he left her shoulders.

"Take her with you Mallika. We'll be there in a few minutes." He spoke and Mallika took Annika inside.

"We can't loose this case on the first hearing itself. We need to do something to get the date of another hearing. It's important. I know whatever Annika told us is a lie, clear lie. I just need time to make her tell the truth." He spoke and Aditya nodded.

The lawyers and the people sat after the judge and the hearing started.

Vishal Sharma stood up and spoke. "I would like to call my client, Mr. Rishabh Sinha into the witness stand to ask him about what exactly happened."

"So Mr. Sinha, what exactly happened that you have put such allegations of kidnapping and attempt to murder on Ms. Annika." Vishal Sharma, his lawyer asked.

"Ms. Annika is a money minded woman who can't see anything beyond money...."

"Objection my Lord." Shivaay spoke in cutting off Rishabh in between.

"Objection Over rule." The judge said and Shivaay sat back in his place.

"Ms. Annika and I met at a wedding, my friend's, in which she was the planner. We both talked and eventually became friends. At first, she looked like a decent lady but as I spent more time with her, I got to know that exactly what type of girl she is. Gradually, she showed her colors and ended up in my room. We, obviously didn't do anything, I didn't let her do anything despite of how much she tried. She Spike my drink and clicked some pictures from which she blackmailed me to give her money. When I refused, she kidnapped me and tried killing me but I escaped."

He narrated the whole story and Annika looked down, tears rolling down her cheeks.

"Thank you so much Mr. Sinha. Now, I would like to call Ms. Annika into the witness stand." Vishal said and Annika stood up.

She didn't reply to any of what was asked, she simply stared at her hands.

Shivaay did all he could and they were successful in getting another date after 4 days. Rishabh was obviously very angry. He wanted the case to be closed as soon as possible because meanwhile, he couldn't proceed with his work.

"What the hell is your problem Annika? Do you have any idea of what could've happened if we were to loose this case?" Shivaay lost his calm as soon as they entered her apartment.

"Yes I know. I would've died and I still will because keep this thing in mind Mr. Shivaay Singh Oberoi that there's no chance we're winning this case." She shouted and went inside the room slamming the door.

"There's is a chance Annika if you tell me the truth. I don't know what's keeping you from telling me but believe me that I am gonna find out what happened." He shouted and she came out of the room.

"I can't tell you anything because I can't see you in pain." She said, calmly.

"Really Annika? If you cared so much about me and my pain, you would've never left me." He said on the verge of crying and walked to the gallery.
