THE STORM

Finally after four dreading hours, the function got over. I was hell tired. I wanted to creep into my room as soon as possible. All these congratulatory thing and all just was making it really hard for her to come her wrath and not shout on anybody to stop
all this and give her some space to breathe. She was suffocated feeling lost in the crowd that had gathered in Tiwari Killa without Shravan, though she knew almost everybody here since her childhood. Anyways, who cared about what she felt like. She was a use and throw material for everyone. But one thing she was completely sure of. And that was, her mission to end  her life if by any means she  is actually  married to that Aditya. The doubt was there because somewhere in her heart there was this constant feeling, even though a little bit, that somehow this marriage would get cancelled. But even she knew it for sure at nothing could stop her from going into the deepest pit. His dark pit would not let he come out of it . So she has decided earlier only to send her dead body to it, whereas give her soul to Shravan. With all these though her mind she finally retired to her room, guided by Preeti. She hadn't realized it until she was handed over her clothes to change. Once she did, she asked her to leave as she could handle herself alone. Preeti really felt bad, not for what her sister said, but the lost look in her eyes said about all her inner turmoils, which no one seemed o understand or more appropriately, tried to ignore. But nonetheless even she retired to her room and went into a
Flashback...
Shravan had reached home after finishing his work on the afternoon of Sumo's engagement. He looked so exhausted after Sumo's love confession and his "important work" that he had literally dozed off on the living room sofa itself. Preeti had comeback from Tiwari Killa to fetch her clothes and jewellery for the evening when she spotted her all time sassy and extra tall Brother in law in such a pitiful condition.She went near him ad woke him up.
Preeti- Shravan please go to your room and take rest. I'll send something for your eat.
Shr- No Preeti it's not needed. I'll go to my room.
With that being said Shravan proceeded towards his room when he heard something that shook him up terribly.
Preeti- At least after knowing everything now go and confess your love to her or do you still doubt on her intentions.
Shravan is flabbergasted as he thinks how does Preeti know about it.
Pre- Don't worry Shravan, I know it all. After all she is my elder sister. Though she had confessed it to me a day prior to my marriage, but you heard it in the afternoon. Well, I had thought that now that you came to know that your Sumo loves you, you would go and make her yours. But no, I was so wrong. You are sitting and thinking, I don't know what, giving pain to both yourself and my dii. Now you tell me what more do you want as an assurance that my dii lives to more an her her own life, that she trusts you blindly even after whatever you have done after returning from London. When would you give her the love she deserves. I know I am saying a lot more than I should. But I want my dii to stay happy and at least get her childhood love back, whom she had sacrificed for me.
Shr- Whaaattt!!???
Pre- Yes it's true she sacrificed her love for me. So that I could marry my love.
Shr- But how is it possible. (Talking-to himself more) No it is true. Because she had started acting weirdly after PreeKar's marriage was fixed. But Preeti, who would do this.
Pre- There is someone who wants to separate you both,but I cannot tell the name as I have promised di not t ell anyone. Plus even if I tell you, you won't believe me. So I guess it's better that you use you lawyer brain to find the culprit.
Shr- But Preeti...
Pre-No Shravan I genuinely can't tell you. Either she will or you will yourself find that out. And you very well know that she won't. So find it out yourself. But at least go and stop her marriage with that Chipku Idiot. Shr- No Preeti I cannot do this. It's too late. Sumo has to stay away from me.
Pre- How dare you say that Shravan? You can't just love and then leave her forever. You can't do this to her. At least go and tell her.
Shr- Preeti, Preeti, Preetiiii...., You are not getting my point. Sumo has to stay away from me till I get to the root of the problem I am in Right now or else she might break. And also I don't want to put her life in danger.
Pre- But what kind of a danger?
Shr- A danger i can't talk about right now. But you have to help me to keep Sumo safe. Will you?
Pre- I will. I definitely will. Just tell me what to do and your work is done. Di has done a lot for me and our family, even though everyone just considered her as a burden and she was made to realize it every now and then. I would do anything I can to repay her back though, I know that I can never actually do that. But anyways tell me what to do.
Shr- Okay, so look what you have to do is behave as if you too don't care about her anymore.
Pre-But how can I do that? I can't hurt her. I love her a lot. She has done so much for me. I can't repay her like this. Though, I very well know that I will never be able to do what she has done for me. How can you even tell me to behave like this. Don't you see, she is in so much pain right now.
Shr- Preetiiii! Listen to me, first. You have to do it. This is the only way you can at least try to repay you sister back.
Pre-By hurting her?
Shr- So, as you know Preeti that your family is hell bent on getting Sumo married to that jerk, Aditya. So you have to keep Sumo sane. Because now I am completely aware that Sumo might harm herself to avoid the engagement or call off the wedding itself in a fit of rage as she has been doing since yesterday. So if you make her agree to this marriage, she won't back out, because would be too shocked upon your change in behaviour, that she might not be able to think straight and will just go with the flow. Till then I have to prepare and get everything ready  so that I can recheck my new found information. And also bring it to the world's eyes to witness. And therefore if I confess my feelings to Sumo, she would definitely see through me and get to the truth even before I have to verify it. And if her heart breaks this time she won't be able to handle it. Also you know it that I can't afford to lose her at any cost. Plus it is also very risky. I just can't put her life in danger. So it's better she stays away from me till day after tomorrow as on that day, either my investigation gives a positive result and I bring it to all of you or I tell the world and my Sumo that I love her and that she is my SOULMATE.
So tell me Preeti, would you support me in this fight.
Pre- I would do what Pushkar would have done, if he had been here. So, of course I will do as you say, and that is keep our Suman safe because Sumo is just yours and she has hidden herself in your heart. So go for it Shravan. Bring happiness back in your Sumo's life. Bring our Sumo di back. I won't ask you about your mission. But anyways. All the very best for your mission, Shravan. I hope you succeed in the Most Important Case of your life.
