I went to school with Lacey with a bad mood. I did slept well last night, but it seems like the words that Logan used against me yesterday keeps running around my brain and the feeling of actually getting hurt by his words lingers onto me.

"What happened to you?" Janice, another friend of mine asked as I sat on our lunch table.

"Huh? Oh, nothing." I answered. Lacey was busy with her phone while Janice was still looking-studying my every move.

"What?" I said, smiling. It was a faint smile but at least.

She shook her head dismissively and continued eating her fries. Just like me, Janice is another scholar in this school. But mine was academic scholarship while hers is athletic scholarship.

Lacey tried to talk me off too earlier, but I didn't let one single word slipped on to my mouth. She even thought that it was about what she had said to me yesterday, but I told her it wasn't. At first, she didn't really believed me, but I told her that I was fine and wasn't really 'that offended in what she had said.

" Hey, guys.." I called.

Both of them shot their heads up to me, like they've been waiting for me to spill something. 'D-do you think I'm an invisible nobody? Or something?" I asked.

Both of them rose an eyebrow and looked at me in disbelief. They glanced at each other for a while before diverting their gazes back to me.

"Are you kidding, us? You, a nobody? Like, seriously?" Janice asked sceptically.

"Of course not, everyone knows you for being the girl who is always on top of everybody! AND the girl who could always stood up and talk back to the arrogant jerk also known as-"

"As what, Lizzy?"

Lacey's eyes bulged out as she stares directly at my back. Janice just sat there, surprised as well.

"N-nothing. And it's Lacey, not Lizzy." Lacey mumbled. She quickly took a spoonful of her strawberry yogurt and shoved it in her mouth.

Janice glanced at me then to the person behind me then to me again then to the person behind me. I rolled my eyes at her before turning around.

I raised my eyebrows at the ugly person when our eyes met. "What do you want, now?" I asked, rudely.

He crossed his arms on his chest while some random girlies of his were trying to wrap her arm around his shoulders. "We. Need. To. Talk." He said.

Other students were watching us as they sat on their table and probably gossiping shitty stuffs again. Whatever, I don't even care what this airheads spread about me anymore.

"What do you think are we doing now?" I said. I faced our table and took a glance at Janice and Lacey who are now busying themselves with their food and phones.

"Listen, we seriously have to talk. Like, NOW." Ooh, he sounds really annoyed!

"I'm busy, get lost." I shooed.

"Ouch!" Someone kicked me under the table, I don't know if it was Janice or Lacey but I kick back to the first leg my feet encountered. Both of them winced.

"I'M GIVING YOU A CHANCE TO DECIDE, KELLY. DO YOU WANT TO WALK YOUR ASS OFF THIS BENCH NORMALLY OR WOULD YOU RATHER WANT ME TO BE NICE ENOUGH TO CARRY YOU." He yelled.

Ugh. I am not in the mood for this. I stood up and glanced at the people who were staring at me before turning around to face him and his bunch of followers. The girly wrapping her arms over his shoulders earlier was now at his back and staring daggers at me.
