Marvel Mikaelson and Hayley Marshall's second child, and Hope's twin baby sister. Klaus decided to separate and hide the girls when his Aunt tried to take them. He couldn't keep both girls together.

He had to make a difficult decision about which daughter to send away and fake her death, and which daughter to keep hidden from the rest of the world.

Because the two most powerful children will attract the attention of all supernatural beings, as well as Hunters. So he decided to send away one of them.

He chose to send his younger child away and pretend she died while keeping Hope and hiding her.

Bobby discovered Marvel at the door of his hotel room. Even if he didn't want a child, he couldn't leave her on the doorstep as if she'd never been there. So he adopted her and made her his daughter.

Marvel is stubborn and brave as she is willing to put herself through extreme pain and possible death to save her family.

Marvel has learned to do anything she can to defend her family. Marvel is always willing to assist in the rescue of those she cares about and considers family.

She struggles to terms with death. She also finds it difficult to form meaningful connections with others and create friends because she has already been through a lifetime of loss and heartbreak.

She is a closed-off person. She sees loneliness as less of a burden to bear than her formative experiences of loving so deeply and losing so terribly.

Marvel always has a plan and usually several backup plans. She is extremely result driven and knows how to organize her environment to achieve her desired outcome. To enemies, she is ruthless and will do whatever it takes to put them in front of justice even if she has to be their justice. She is confident in herself and her plans. One of her biggest problems is that she can't put aside her emotions and do the right thing.

Whenever the changes come she can adapt in a second and come up with another plan. She is understanding, kind, funny, mischievous, sarcastic, rude, and insulting. Despite these traits, the blonde is very laid-back and well-disposed when not her family is hurt and she values the safety of innocent civilians above all else, even her own life. Though on occasion she can be somewhat impulsive as well as arrogant, The girl is both brilliant and competent.

She is more likely to exhibit irrational behavior when her family is threatened. Underneath her seeming arrogance and self-righteousness, the girl has many signs of self-loathing and insecurity. She enjoys the uncomplicated things in life, such as good food and television.
