"I'm gonna kill him!" Brian shouted pacing back and forth around Juliette's living room. "Like actually fucking kill him!" He growled.
Juliette sighed deeply. She wasn't surprised by this reaction, in fact she was expecting it. After the firemen punishment, members of the crew and a few firemen buddies went out to eat. Juliette and Levi joined at Brian's request and she watched how Brian sat with his son on his lap proudly. She smiled at how much fun their son was having listening to lots of stories about his dad, both with the firehouse and IJ. After dinner, Brian came back to Juliette's to put Levi to bed.
Once the little boy was tucked in, Jules knew it was time to rip off the bandaid. It went pretty much how she imagined it would. She watched as the father of her child erupted in a rage. "What the fuck is your old fiancé doing with the lab guy?!" He screamed.
"I can assure you I have no clue." Jules said as calmly as possible. "Please try to keep it down, Levi's asleep." She reminded.
However the last thing on Brian Quinn's mind at the moment was calming down. As his nostrils continued to flare in complete frustration and anger, he went on pacing back and forth. "Now it's all making sense..." he said thinking out loud.
"What are you talking about?" Juliette asked.
"Tina. Why I confronted her she got freaked out and tried to distract me." He replied.
This certainly got Juliette's attention as she stopped Brian in his tracks. "I'm sorry...distracted you how exactly?" She asked in an ice cold tone that Brian knew all too well.
"When I told her I wanted to do a second DNA test, she started to get upset and then she...well..she kinda..." He began tripping over his words; even though he had a million things going through his mind he didn't want to ruin a potential reconciliation with Jules over this.
"Spit it out Quinn." She said through gritted teeth.
"She came onto me and I think it was just to make me forget about getting Jace retested." He said finally coming clean.
Now Juliette's blood was boiling. "You slept with her?!" She asked ready to find this girl and mangle her with her bare hands. Just the thought of the two of them in bed together was enough to make Juliette puke.
"No!" He shouted immediately. "I wasn't gonna let it happen."
"So what did you let happen?" Juliette asked.
"Alright look, you and I weren't together. You really can't be getting mad." Brian said now flipping on the defense.
Placing her hands directly on her hips, she looked straight into his dark brown eyes, "Don't tell me what I can and can't be mad about Fireboy. Now I'm gonna ask you again, what did you and Tina do?"
Letting out a heavy sigh accompanied by an eye roll he went to open his mouth but was then interrupted..."Ya know what..." Juliette said, "Forget it, I don't even wanna know. You're right, we weren't together so it's none of my business and quite honestly I really don't wanna know."
He saw the hurt in her eyes and for a moment, forgot how angry he was. Pulling her into his chest he spoke much softer, "I didn't sleep with her, I swear. I barely even touched the girl."
"Brian seriously! I don't wanna know....please." She sighed sadly. Deep down Juliette Dawson would always feel like she would never be fully what Brian Quinn wanted.
"Alright alright." He said putting his hands up in defense but then quickly wrapped them around her body again. Brian felt the tickle of her breath on his neck as she nuzzled into him for comfort. "Listen..." he whispered into her hair, "We've been through a lot of shit but the past is the past, let's focus on the future." He then placed a soft kiss to her lips. "Us and our son baby. Let's do it right this time."
