There is something surely divine about the first rain after a long dry summer. It brings life and the quenching of thirst. It brings back the hope of farmers and the delight of children pulling on their wellies. There's a sudden freshness that fills the air and fills your lungs, breathing your energy back into you. The first rain brings new motivation and a new spring in your step. Even the smell of it is mouthwatering.
The first ray of sun after a long hard winter is bliss. It brings the carefree happiness that only warmth brings. This is different to the artificial heat or the burn of a fire - this is light itself. Everything feels easy and nothing can bring you down - finally, you can wear what you like and venture out freely, weighed down by nothing but ideas of the things you can do in this beautiful weather.
Perspective is important.
