"oh my god, did you SEE seonghwa today? oh my GAHD!!! he is the CUTEST guy at this school." screamed momo, who was one of the japanese transfer students at the high school. she was wooyoung's best friend. 

"sorry, i'm taken. but like my boyfriend daniel was really hot at the basketball game yesterday." said jihyo, one of wooyoung's other best friends. (a/n: uwuwuwu ship jihyo and daniel!!!)

"uGh, im like, in LOVE with that junior jongho, like he's so strong oh my god!!" said chaeyoung, the sassy one in the group. 

"how about you, wooyoung? do you like anyone?" asked jeongyeon, the nicest and most quiet out of them all. 

i answered, "me? i-uh-well-i dont know? maybe? no?"

i panicked and started stuttering, like i always do. i just didnt feel anything special towards girls. they're really easy to talk to, which is why all my friends are girls. maybe i had a thing for boys. but i'm kinda scared of them. i don't even know why. i get nervous around guys, and sometimes i start sweating, and then my face turns as pink as a cherry blossom. which is also why i was friends with only girls. 

the bell rang, signaling the end of our break. as i walked toward my next class, i wondered if i could ever find someone that i liked. 

brrrrriiiiiiinnnnnnnggggg!!!!! the final bell for the end of the day finally rang. students came pouring out of the front gate. chaeyoung ran up to me and was jumping up and down excitedly, like a young kangaroo learning to jump. 

"WOOYOUNG!! there's a dance coming up! we can finally ask some dudes out! there's a dance! there's a dance! wOOhOo!" 

jihyo, who walked over to where we were standing, came to listen in on our conversation. 

"there's a dance? ooh, i hope daniel asks me out, even though i know that he will. we are gonna have so much fun!"

swinging her arms like crazy, momo also came over to share the news. 

"LET'S GOOOOOO! we finally have a chance to get ourselves a guy! a dance is so much fun!! we should go shopping for clothes for the dance!"

jeongyeon just quietly celebrated with a quick 'yes!' movement. 

i was excited. what if someone actually liked me? that would be fun. and interesting.
