Stefan and Damon were fighting over the differences over Elena's transition.
Stefan wanted Bonnie to find a way for Elena to become human again.
Damon wanted her to feed and complete the transition before she was killed.
While they were upstairs with Elena as she woke, I was downstairs in the kitchen, opening a cupboard, grabbing a bottle of alcohol, turning toward the glasses on the counter, pouring one glass.
Damon walked in.
I handed the glass I had poured to him, pouring another.
Stefan walked in.
"Way to get her hopes up for something that's never happened in the history of vampirism," Damon told him.
"You know what, you weren't there the day Elena looked me in the eye and told me she absolutely never wanted this," Stefan told him.
Damon drank the whole glass in one sip. "Then you shouldn't have let her die."
"He never meant for her to die," I told him. "She asked him to help Matt first, and he did, asking me to save his life because he looked dead himself."
"And now the world has one more quarterback," Damon told me. "Bravo, Nikki."
I rolled my eyes, turning away from him, taking a sip of my drink.
"I made a choice that I will regret for the rest of my life." Stefan told us. "Now let me try to fix it."
Stefan walked out of the kitchen.
Damon looked at me.
I scoffed, shaking my head, turning away from him, walking toward the door.
"What?" Damon asked.
I didn't answer, leaving.

I was walking toward my house when I heard something behind me. I turned around to look around, but no one was there. I turned forward.
Deputies stood in front of me, aiming guns at me.
I jumped. "Jesus, not this again." The Pastor of Mystic Falls walked toward me. "Pastor Young? What the hell is going on here?"
"Well, I'm looking for your ancestors, Nicola," Pastor Young answered. "I have men going to the Gilbert house, and looking all over town for Stefan and Damon. If we can't find them, we know a decent way to get to them."
"You really want to go up against them?" I asked. "If you hurt anyone that they care about, they will find you."
"Well, that's what we're hoping for," Pastor Young told me.
"And then they will kill you," I finished.
"Are you sure about that?" Pastor Young asked. "Now, I know that you just survived the very thing that nearly killed you, and I applaud you for it, and I knew your father, and I'm sorry, but you're going to have to come with us."
"I'm guessing that the absence of the word 'willingly' is intentional," I stated.
No one answered.
I exhaled in annoyance.
Great.

They had taken me to the Young farm house.
There was a deputy standing behind me.
Pastor Young sat across from me at the table.
