It's been three days since I invoked the storm. I am now lying in a hospital bed trying to remember what happened. The doctor said I was struck by lightning ...twice. He also said most people don't survive even the first hit. Apparently I'm a miracle, although I don't feel like one.
But what I do feel is an inner strength, something inside of me that wasn't there before. Sometimes when I get close to an outlet or machine it shorts out. I asked the doctor about it, he said he wasn't sure what I was talking about and referred me to a psych doc. I'm not insane! This is true, things are happening and I see things differently. For instance I can see auras, I'm not sure if you have ever seen an aura.
To explain, it is sort of like looking into heat sensing goggles, bright streams of different colored lights surround people like rainbows. Not everyone has them, in fact, there are few people around me who do. I guess I got my wish, I am transforming into something else and I don't know what it is. I'm scared, but I'm also excited. I can't wait to get out of this hospital and back into casting.
I will write again once I get home.
