It has been a few days since I last checked in. So most of you are probably wondering about what happened between me and Rush. Well we're in love....ok maybe that's a little much, but I do have strong feelings for him. He spent the night with me, although nothing happened aside from kissing it was amazing. He is amazing. Even Akela likes him, which he should... they are pretty much the same species.
Anyways, it has been uneventful lately, I've been doing a lot of research in electrical energy and the combination of using it with some spells. Basically, normal witches lack the energy to produce spells that are instantly effective. But since I'm a stormborn, my power can shake the earth...at least that's what the forum said, so it won't take me as long to get results. The forum also went into mankind's link to magic and what we are missing now in the modern world compared to what we had before.
Hundreds of years ago, the most powerful witches and mages were storm born, or other types of species. Over the years magic has become a rarity, and that was due to man basically breeding it out. But every once in awhile a miracle happens and a new power is born. This can range from, werewolf to elementals. Some of these miracles only happen every one thousand years.
This brings me to my next cast. This one was suggested by rush, a levitation Spell.
Levitation:
Objects: a full pentacle circle big enough to sit in.
Wand, crystal, or your favorite magical catalyst.
Warnings: this spell can cause dizziness, nausea, and occasionally vomiting on your first cast. The spell is meant to be done over long periods of time, working your way up to your goal. Start small if you are a beginner, maybe use a light object at first like a feather.
Note: levitation objects must be real and not fabricated or plastic or it will not work. They must be born from earth.
To begin: draw your circle using epsom salt, unscented. Use candles at each point to help draw your energy. Sit in the middle of your circle in meditation pose. Open your chakras, all of them, for this spell you will need energy from all aspects of your body.
I am attempting to levitate myself, so I won't be using an object only a catalyst, which is a spessartite crystal.
Once situated picture yourself or the object floating weightless, focus hard, pointing your catalyst at the object. Now say the chant thrice:
A witch in the night
My wings take flight
Bring me back
With one finger snap
Then snap your fingers. To undo your cast snap your fingers again.
