Emma's POV:
I cried into Nash's shoulder until I felt my phone vibrate. I look at the text and my mom was telling me it was time to come home. "I have to go home." I slowly get up and walk down stairs with Nash. On our way out, Elizabeth stopped me and gave me a hug. "Emma, I support you."

I looked at her like she was crazy but then she whispered in my ear. "I know."

I hug her tighter and hope my parents were as supportive as Elizabeth.

I grabbed Nash's hand and walked out the door to his car. The silent car ride was awkward at best. When we rolled up in my driveway, Nash pulled me into a passionate kiss. He pulled back and said, "Em, I'm always here. No matter what, I'm going to be here."

I nod my head and open the car door. I slowly walk up my steps as my hands shake crazy. I open my front door and try to head upstairs. My brother, Jackson, sees me and grabbed me by my waist and drags me into the kitchen where all my family was at.

"Em!" My mom grabbed my elbow and pulled me to her.

I suck in a deep breath. "Mom there's something I have to tell you." But my dear mother interrupted me, "Its okay, Emma. You don't have to go to NCU. There are other colleges out there." My mom hugged me tight, pulled back and looked at me and smiled.

I burst put crying and she pulled me in for another hug. She started rubbing my back and cooing to me. "It's alright. We'll find other colleges." I started crying more, and I couldn't take it, so I busted out. "I'm pregnant! There! I said it."

My mother's eyes grew wide, and my grandma dropped her fork from her hand. "What did you say?" My mom said through gritted teeth.

I stood my ground with a little bit of a shake. "You heard me. I'm pregnant." My mom's eyes turned a dark shade of blue where they were almost black. "GET OUT. I never want to see you again! You are not my daughter. You disgraced me! How could you!?" She screamed in my face and shoved me into the fridge. I saw her raise her hand and flinched as it came close to me head.

It stopped an inch from my face when Jackson stopped her. "What the hell are you doing? She is your daughter!" My brother was very protective over me, no matter who it was.

My mom defiantly stared back at him and said to him, "She got pregnant at 16, Jack! That's not acceptable! You of all people should know that."

My brother just stared her, shook his head, and took me upstairs. On the way he up he flipped her off.

I fell into my bed and started shaking and crying at the same time. Jackson picked me up and started rocking me back and forth.

*FLASHBACK*

I tried to block out their yelling my hiding underneath my blanket, but all it did was show how scared I truly was. For as long as I could remember, I had cried myself to sleep.

Sometimes I would go into my brother's room and sleep with him. He was the only one I ever felt safe with.

One night, I creeped into his room, but I didn't see him. I saw his bathroom light on so I went to go find him. I walk in there, and Jackson was sitting on the floor, crying with a razor in his hand. I felt tears in my eyes when I saw my hero needing his own hero. Before the blade went through his skin, he looked up and saw me. "Emma, I didnt mean it. But I need help. I need to someone to love me."

At 13, Jackson was a tall muscular guy. He was the star player. He was at the top of his class. If you look at him. You'd never guess is dark secret. Normal six year olds would only know that he was upset. But I knew he was in the worst trouble. I went up to him and wrapped my arms around. "Bubba, I love you. We'll make it alright. I pinky promise." I stuck out my pinky and smiled as a big smile spread onto his face.

*EndOfFlashback*

I stifled a tear, got up and started grabbing random clothes and stuffing them into a bag. "What are you doing?" Jackson asked me.

"You heard mom, I can't stay here." I grabbed my white converse and put them in a suitcase. Jackson got up and grabbed a pair of boots and put them in there also. "Which is why you're coming with me."

I thought about it for a minute, but I'd rather be with Nash. "I'd love too, but wouldn't Myranda feel unnoticed? I mean, you're pregnant sister would draw your attention from her." I watch him roll his eyes.

"Myranda loves you, by the way, and if you want to stay with Nash, I'm totally fine with that." He said calmly ad he zipped up my last bag.

"Really?" I said raising my eyes brows. Nash's brother, Will, and Jackson were best friends so they were always close.

"I trust Nash, but I'd thought he'd be a little more careful," he poked my stomach, "but I trust him."
