My family had just moved once again, so that means another new school, new people, new teachers, and new surroundings. I wanted to hate going to school this year, but I was finally going to a good school, so I couldn't be mad about it. I was starting my 11th grade year at Indian Hill, which by the way no one ever thinks that switching to a different high school would change their lives. Sometimes you get the unexpected, so we got moved in and it was my mom, her boyfriend, 4 of my siblings, and myself. Once we got settled in I decided I wanted a fresh start, I actually was going to focus because where I went to school before I didn't really do anything and I was starting to get really behind.

A couple days have passed since we have moved into our new house. It Is out first time ever having a house, so it was a nice change for everyone to have a little bit of their own space. I started school tomorrow and was a little nervous. I had a couple friends that went there already that I went to church with. I had an option to go to school and I chose to go that way I could catch up on what I would have already missed. School had started almost 3 weeks ago for everyone else, so I knew that I had some catching up to do.

My mom drove me to school, and we went and met my councilor so I could get my schedule. I texted one of my friends, so she could show me around the school before it started. I said bye to my mom and then started down the hall. I thought that everyone was going to be rude and look at you like they were better than you (It was a rich kids school, don't know how I ended up there). My friend walked me to my first class and told me that she would come get me after the bell rang. I was happy that I wasn't completely alone at this place, I would have been so lost. The day went by pretty quick and I went outside to find my bus.

Once I got one, I thought that I would sit near the back. It seemed as if that was where the high school students sat and the middle school students sat in the middle and front of the bus. I knew that my sister Hannah would be sitting with me, so I enjoyed the one day that I got to sit alone. As I sat there, there were a couple of people who caught my eye. Mainly the two guys who say behind me, the one who sat directly behind me asked what my name was and I told him Courtney. He said his name was Reed and the guy sitting by him was Matt. They were pretty funny to listen to on the way home.

So I got home and talked to my mom while starting my 5,000 pages of homework, told her about  how I think that this school would be a good fit for me. Everyone talked about how they all didn't want to start school the next day, and then we all went to bed to get a good nights rest.
