Song Writing

A few weeks later, Thomas was looking for Baby. In his hands, he held a notepad of song lyrics he had written down. He had written them down because he remembered a few things from months ago. Namely the song Baby and the others had sung to him, the lift thing addressing him as Eggs Benedict and the controlled shocking. Not to mention the night guards that he avoided. He'd heard them talking about how awful the place was, which had given him ideas for the song. He soon found her talking to her Bidybabs and they scampered off. Baby turned to Thomas

"How are you feeling?", she asked him as she hugged him. Thomas smiled and hugged her back

"Much better. I think the clown mask thing has gone", he replied. Baby noticed the notepad

"Did you write this?", she asked looking over the song. Thomas nodded.

"I wanted to write a song for us to sing together. The last song you guys sang was amazing so I wanted to write one too. I wrote it based off what I remember. Mainly the night guards that I had seen. They were talling a lot about this place being awful and about their job being lousy.", he replied as the two of them sat down to read over the lyrics and rehearse them. A few hours later, Thomas and Baby were on the stage while the others sat in chairs watching. Even the Bidybabs and Minireenas were sat down watching

"This song was actually written by Thomas. We spent hours rehearsing so I hope you like it", Baby said. Foxy and Lolbit smiled at Thomas, proud of him.

"Let's hear it. I'm eager to see what he's written", Lolbit said and Baby and Thomas began singing

When they were done, everyone began clapping and Foxy hugged Thomas.

"What was the inspiration?", she asked

"A few things. Namely the night guards that came here a lot. What I remember them saying about the job and the place really helped inspire new lyrics", Thomas replied and hugged Foxy. Baby patted his head and handed him a cupcake

"That was a lovely song. I especially like how you included Ballora, Freddy and Foxy in it too", she said kindly.

"Thanks. It was all based off what I remember happening. Sorry you weren't featured Lolbit", he said to the orange and purple fox, who smiled

"No worries. You are an amazing singer", she said as she kissed his forehead.

"We should still be on the lookout for that clown mask and mess of wires. It could be anywhere", Freddy said in concern.

"Yeah. That thing is sneaky", Bon Bon said as she looked around.

"Let's keep an eye out for that thing. If anyone sees it, let us know as soon as possible and we can protect Thomas no matter what", Baby said holding Thomas in her arms. Thomas ate the cupcake and thought back to something he'd heard.

"Weird thing is, it hasn't arrived in weeks. I did hear a sort of siren and then a crack. Then a shuffling", Thomas said and Foxy's eyes widened.

"He must have found a way out", she said.

"Is that a good thing or a bad thing?", Thomas asked

"Both really. Good because we don't have to worry about it anymore. Bad because it's escaped", Ballora said.

"As long as it doesn't hurt Thomas then I don't care where it is", Lolbit said. Thomas yawned and fell asleep against Baby's shoulder. Baby gently rubbed his back and sat on her stage as the others headed back to their stages. The Bidybabs sat close by, watching for any signs of trouble. They'd gotten close to Thomas too and saw him as an older brother. One of them climbed up and sat with Thomas. Thomas smiled in his sleep and held the Bidybab close. He loved his new family like nothing else.
