It was Brianna's party. What was weird was that Brianna lived in the same house as Leon but he wasn't home.

"Hey August!" Bri yelled over the music.

  August flinched,"Hell, what is it?"

Bri looked at Ana and smiled,"Ooh you're very pretty!"

Ana blushed and nodded her head,"Thank you! You are too!"

Bri was actually pretty. She had hazel eyes, brown hair, and tons of freckles. Her skin tone was tan, but not really tan. Her outfit was quite aesthetic. She was wearing a pink butterfly crop top with a pair of light washed mom jeans, her red and black vans complimented the outfit.

"Thank you! We're gonna be the best of friends!" Bri smiled.

Ana smiled shyly. Bri is really nice. "My dad isn't home so feel free to party hard!" Bri shouted.

Ana tapped Bri's shoulders,"Who is your dad?"

Bri stopped smiling,"Oh, he's Leon Andrews."

Ana frowned seeing Bri's actions,"Sorry, I didn't mean to intrude."

Bri patted Ana's back,"It's fine bestie. I just don't get that question a lot, you know? A bunch of people already know who my dad is and was."

The black haired girl looked at the ground. What sucked was that she knew who Leon is, she didn't know he had a kid. "Come on, go get us a beer!" August yelled at Bri.

"I can get beers!" Ana smiled.

Ana walked off to find the kitchen. She didn't noticed this then but the music kinda sucked. After wondering around, Ana finally found the kitchen. The kitchen had a weird vibe. It looked like an old 70's kitchen. Ana spotted the beers and grabbed two for Bri and August.

The girl walked through the kitchen door, into the livingroom only to see August and Bri making out on the couch. Ana face turned into a frown. She walked up to them and set the beers on the coffee table," I got the beers..."

August noticed Ana and pushed Bri off,"There's only two?"

Ana shrugged,"One for you and Bri. I'm going to go home. Hope yall have fun."

Ana turned aroynd and walked to the front door. She turbed back to see a pair of hazel eyes staring back at her green ones. The girl turned her head to the door and opened it, leaving the house.

It was kind of chilly, with a slight breeze. Ana clenched her jacket as she shivers.

"Couldn't relax
  Couldn't sit back.
  And let the sun.
  Light in my lap~"

Ana sang softly as she walked home.

After 20 minutes, Ana was on her driveway, messing with the rocks. It was now 6:58.

Suddenly, Ana heard footsteps. She looked at the shoes only to see a pair of black converse. "Why'd you leave?" The person asked.

Ana looked up only to see August. "I left because I felt kinda sick." Ana sighed.

August looked into her eyes,"You're lying. Give it up, darling."

Ana looked away from him,"Are you and Bri dating?"

August sat down next to Ana as he let out a heavy sigh,"No. Is that really why you left?"

Ana shook her head no,"I'm not a big party person. I prefer staying at home and have fun with a friend."

August grabbed her hand and got up. "Let's go chill at my place. It's just going to be us two, a couple beers, and ice cream." August pulled Ana onto her feet.

At this point, August was pulling Ana to his house. They were now inside his house. "MOM I'M HOME!" August yelled out tk his mother.

A feminine motherly voice then said,"Okay! Dinner's in the fidge!"

August and Ana ran upstairs. They walked through a hallway with some creepy paintings and on the left was August's room. They both walked in, getting blasted with the scent of weed and cigarettes.

"I'll grab beers, get comfy." August said to Ana.

Ana nodded and August left the room. The girl kicked off her shoes and sat herself down onto his bed.

August's room was messy. There was papers every where, clothes all over the floor. The most disgusting part is the tissues and the lotion.

His walls were a dark blue with skate posters and band posters everywhere. The floor was white carpet but it had a few paint stains. His bed was black but had a dark blue design on them. It was also messy. The dressers were white and his computer desk was gray.

It obviously had a lived in vibe. The door slammed open and August walked in holding 6 beers. "Sorry about the mess." August apologized.

He put down the beers on the floor next to his bed and gave one to Ana. "I told my mom that you were here so now she's making dessert," The boy smiled.

He sat down next to Ana and let out a loud sigh. Ana spoke up,"I know we just met today but it feels like we've been friends since diapers."

August nodded his head. Ana tried opening the beer bottle but failed. The boy took notice of this, grabed the beer and opened it for her.

"Let me guess, first time?" August smirked.

Ana nodded her head sadly,"My mom doesn't want me drinking since alcoholism runs in the family."

August's smiles faded,"You don't have to drink it."

The girl shook her head no,"No no! Three beers never hurt!"

August laughed. The boy looked at Ana as she was about to take a sip. Ana nervously held the bottle close to her lips. Quickly, she takes a sip. She let the flavor sink in. The taste wasn't bad. She took another sip.

"What music do you like?" August asked.

Ana shrugged,"I don't listen to music a lot. Any genre doesn't matter."

August got up from the bed and walked over to his desk. He grabbed a cd and put it in the music player.
