Epilogue

The final two years went by uneventfully and fast. Albus and Scorpius are stronger together then ever before. There hasn't been anything from Delphi ever since. They now know how to deal with her and they are keeping close eyes on her Azkaban even adopted muggle security with cameras.

Scorpius graduated Hogwarts second in his class, behind Rose Weasley, and he's completely fine with it. Albus was so excited for him. Now with so much free time they are working on getting jobs and a place to live.

Of course both sets of parents have the money to help them out, but they wanna be able to do it themselves and only go them their parents if there's no other option. Albus was working in the muggle world, while Scorpius is looking into teaching at Hogwarts. He wanted to do herbology, but since Professor Longbottom isn't giving up the spot anytime soon, he's had to consider other options. He was offered the position as potions master, since Slughorn wants to leave now for good and live out the remainder of his life in peace.

He's been thinking about it and loves the idea, so he's decided to talk to Albus about it since they'll have to live close to the school. Albus is all for it, so they decide that living in Hogsmeade is perfect, that way they're close enough to each other. Albus then quits his muggle job for one in the village close to where they'd live. However Scorpius has one more special surprise for Albus.

Since accepting the position Scorpius will have to sleep in the school during the week and he'll see Albus on weekends. So with school staring in a week, Scorpius planned a special day for the two of them. So they go out at night and walk around knowing how nice it's going to be to start their new jobs and live in a new place, the young couple just have everything they need. So after grabbing a bite to eat at the Three Broomsticks, and a couple of butterbeers they're now just walking around taking in how beautiful the village is at night. They walk up a hill leading towards the shrieking shack, when they stop.

"Hey Al, remember coming up here" Scorpius asks.

"Of course I do how old do you think we are, just graduated last year" Albus says to him.

"I know, the first time we were here was third year correct?" Scorpius asks.

"Yeah I believe it was"

"Merlin that feels like a lifetime ago..." Scorpius mutters.

"I know what you mean, after the hectic fourth and fifth year we had, yeah" Albus sighs leaning into Scorpius.

"Well, those crazy years only helped us in the long run don't you think, we got through all that together"

"Yeah it did, who knew" Albus shrugs it off.

"Yeah, and we'll get though everything else together like we always do" Scorpius says.

"Scorp what's that supposed to mean" Albus asks not moving his head from Scorpius' shoulder. So Scorpius takes a deep breath and steps away from Albus to look at him.

"Albus, Albus Severus Potter, I love you, you know that, and I need you just like you need me, you once told me that you didn't like your life with me in it, I hope that still stands. . ."

"Scor. . ." Albus says while starting to cry.

Scorpius kneels on one knee.

"Albus Potter will you marry me?" Scorpius finally asks.

"Yes! Of course git" Albus says while still crying then he pulls Scorpius into a kiss.

All was well.
