He kissed her?! Seeing this makes me so mad! She's mine! She's kissing him back?? NO! I must stop this.. if I'm to have her fall for me my plans need to happen now! Right now!

Natsu pov

I couldn't stop kissing her. Now that I could, knew what it felt like, knew how she tasted, I didn't want to stop. I don't think she did either.. she had such a grip on me it was like she thought I'd disappear if she let go. We break away from each other still tightly wrapped in each others arms. She blushes and smiles, "Why are you blushing?" I smile at her. "I never thought this was something that would happen. You kissing me, telling me you feel the same way as I do for you.. it's just too.." She suddenly stiffens in my arms, drops her smile and looks behind her leaving me confused, "What's wrong?" "Natsu? Can you sense anyone else around us?" I blink a few times and look around.. I don't, see anyone. I can't hear anything. I sniff the air though.. I do smell someone nearby.. I grab her tighter to me.. "Natsu?" "I smell someone nearby.. it's coming from somewhere behind you." She gains a look of panic.. "Don't worry. I won't let anything happen to you. I've got you." She still looks scared, "Natsu, I should have said something sooner, I really should have, but I thought it was just in my head! I think someone has been following me around lately! I've been feeling like I've been watched for a couple weeks now.." "Why didn't you say anything to me?" "I said I thought it was all in my head! I never saw anyone whenever I'd turn around!" I gently push her behind me and place on arm up in defense of her. "WHOEVER YOU ARE, MAKE YOURSELF KNOWN! COME OUT YOU COWARD!" No one responds or shows themselves. "EITHER YOU COME OUT FROM WHERE YOU'RE HIDING OR I COME FIND YOU!"

"Fine, fine, guess I'll step out into the light." someone responds with a smile in their voice. I see them step out from behind a tree. A tall and somewhat built kid with thick glasses and short black hair, blue jeans and an orange t shirt. "WHO ARE YOU AND WHY HAVE YOU BEEN STALKING LUCY!? SHE'S MINE!" "Well firstly, I am James, secondly, I find two things wrong with your statement. One, I haven't been stalking, I have been admiring. Lucy is the most gorgeous and bad ass woman I've ever had the pleasure to feast my eyes upon." I grit my teeth and try like hell to not run up to him and rip his throat out at how he said the last part of his sentence. "And two, she isn't yours. She will be MINE. I will make damn sure of that. Ever since I watched her in the GMG, I've wanted nothing more than to make her mine.. In every way that sentence can be taken" he smirks and looks past me at Lucy. I feel her tremble from behind me. She's already been kidnapped so many times. She's been through enough and doesn't need this! "Like hell will I let you take her from me!" "I'm afraid you don't have a choice!" Before I can react, he throws some dark green vile at us and it shatters at our feet.. A plume of green smoke reaches our faces and we both begin to cough. "What the hell *cough* is this!!?" "It's a reality and memory altering potion I've created myself. It will force the both of you to forget about each other. It will also force everyone in that damn guild to forget about ever meeting Lucy as well as she forget about them. I want nothing and no one getting in my way to her. "NO! I don't want to *cough* forget about Natsu! *cough* or my guild! They're my family!" She shouts angrily at him. We're both on the ground coughing and fighting to stay awake.. I grab her hand.. she looks at me with tears in her eyes, "Natsu, I can't forget about you! I can't! I love you!" "Oh my sweet, don't worry! I love you! You will learn to love me too. The sadness you feel will soon disappear, I promise. I want you to fall in love with me all on your own, I'm confident you will with a clean slate. I didn't get to meet you before you met him" He shoots daggers at me as I struggle to catch my breath, "but with a new start, you'll meet me and I promise you'll want me as badly as I want you." "Lucy.. I WILL find you again.. just hold on for me." I manage to choke out before we eventually both pass out while still holding each others hand.

time skip 3 weeks

Lucy pov

It's been 3 weeks since a nice couple found me passed out in the forest. I have no memory of the last few years of my life or how I wound up where I was found.. Ever since I woke up, I feel like I'm forgetting something or someone important to me.. I've been trying like hell to remember but I draw blanks. I must have hit my head at some point before I passed out because I woke up to no memory, a headache, my chest had an emptiness inside it, and blurry vision.. The couple were passing through after a vacation and offered to take me to their home town. I gratefully accepted. They allowed me to stay in their home till I found my own place. They helped me find a job in town and with my signing bonus, it was enough to get a small apartment. Not the best, but it was perfect for just me. It's in a nice neighborhood and cheap! I managed to land a job at a small journalist agency. I made a couple of new girlfriends at work who are great. But hard core partiers. Like, seriously if they weren't working or sleeping? They were out at the bars and clubs drinking and dancing and meeting new guys. "Hey Lucy, you clockin out soon?" "Hey Calla, yea here in five minutes. I'm gonna touch up this article first before I send it to Mike for approval." "You wanna join me and Sia tonight? You wanna join us tonight." She smirks and quirks her brows at me and said the last sentence as a statement. I sigh, "Guess I'm joining you tonight." "YES! Girl finally! About time you finally come along! Wear something sexy tonight!" She starts running off towards the exit, "Wait, hang on what exactly do you have planned??" She stops, smiles while looking at me and putting her finger to her chin in 'thought' and says, "Hmm, I dunno." she shrugs never losing her smile. I shake my head at her, "Sia and I will come pick you up at 7 okay? Be ready to go!"
