Lucy pov

It's been a couple days since the show down with James happened. We managed to get a hold of someone with the magic council and they sent a few soldiers to come and arrest him and haul him off to jail the same night. If I ever see him again or hear his name ever again, it'll be much too soon. Charla and Wendy headed back to the guild early the next morning to let the guild know of everything. I eventually explained to Calla and Sia what had happened and what I'd meant when I said I'd explain everything. From not knowing Natsu and who anyone was, to suddenly appearing very close to them. To how and why James was dangerous.. although they kinda gathered that themselves when he one. drugged and tried to rape me and two. turned into an over sized and much much stronger version of himself and attacked us. As well as I was a Fairy Tail wizard.. and had to return to my guild and my real home. It was noon now and we were packing the last of my things from the apartment. I already spoke with my boss at the journalist agency and although he was disappointed to see me go, he understood and wished me good luck in everything.

Happy came flying out of the apartment door with a heavy box. His cheeks were red and he was huffing and puffing for air. "Okay.. Lucy.. this is.. the last.. box." "Thanks Happy!" "Man, its about as heavy as you are Lucy." I yank his tail down, "What was that cat??" And give him my best impression of an angry Erza, "AH! NoNothing ma'am!" I let him go and he flew over to Natsu, "Lucy's so mean!" Natsu and I just laugh. Calla and Sia and come up to say goodbye, "Do you really have to go?" Sia asked sadly. I give her a sympathetic smile. "Yea, I do." "We're really going to miss having you around Lucy." Calla adds. "How about you guys come with us? You guys would love Magnolia!" I offer. The girls exchanged looks, "We'd love to but we can't. This is our home. We've been here all our lives. Our families are here." Sia says. I frown, "I understand. Maybe we can visit each other?" At this, the girls perk up and squeal. "Yes! That would be great!" Calla shouts! "But bring him along too when you do. He's fun to have around and poke fun with." She adds nodding her head at Natsu. Sia nods in agreement. I look over at him, he's not even paying attention as he's mid argument with Happy over the right way to eat fish. I smile and then break into a laugh. "I don't think he'd mind that at all." I'm finally able to get out. He and Happy notice the three of us giggling and looking at them, "What? He thinks raw is best! Which is sooo WRONG. Gotta be burnt to a crisp! Best tasting that way." "No, fishies have to be raw! They're freshest and more flavorful that way!" "Keep dreaming buddy!" We can't help but burst into laughter. I give the girls my Magnolia address as well as Fairy Tail's for them to come visit whenever they want and we give our final hug goodbye.

"We'll miss youuu!" Sia shouts while waving at us as we leave. "You can count on us coming to visit really soon, okay!" Calla shouts! I giggle, "I'll miss you guys too! I'll be waiting!!" I smile and turn around and start to tear up on our way to the train with the wagon. Natsu notices and forces me to stop the wagon. He climbs up and hugs me close. "I'm really going to miss them Natsu. They were great friends and mean a lot to me." He's putting his fingers through my hair, "I know. But they'll come see you and we can come up to see them." "We?" "Oh yea, I like them. They seem like nice people and they were there for you where and when I couldn't be. Plus, I'm not letting you leave by yourself ever. I'll always be by your side to protect you and keep you safe." I look up at him with the last of my tears and grin at him. "You really care about me don't you." He stops running his fingers through my hair to put his hand behind my head and pulls me close, ".. I really love you." He kisses me so passionately I've lost my breath. He breaks the kiss making me pout.. "Come back.." I breathlessly say.. "Do you want to be my girlfriend, Lucy?" I'm stunned at first. Natsu just asked me to be official with him.. I get butterflies in my stomach and feel my face go hot. "As long as you'll be my boyfriend." He smirks and says, "I'll take that as a yes." I smirk back at him and and smash my lips onto his. "Jeeze get a roooooom you two" Happy says. Oh yea I forgot he was with us too. Oops haha.
