Tommy's POV:
I hear them all muttering nonsense and my cheeks burn.
I stand up, raising my hand.
"Teacher?"
The teacher turns around,"Yes, Tommy?"
I scowl at the room,"These inhuman individuals are making fun of someone for being sick."
The teacher looks out at the room in disappointment,"Is this true?"
Multiple children shake their heads.
Hot tears fill my eyes. The very nerve of these people!
"Liars!" I exclaim,"Fine! If you all want to be stuck-up liars, be my guest! But stop making fun of my friend!"
Tears spill down my cheeks.
"Seriously?" someone says,"You're crying?"
My cheeks burn more and I sit in my seat, burying my face in my arms.
