A Capitol Broadcast: The Deadly Dozen

Hi! It's your face of the Games Carmen Marcius here, live from Capitol Square! For those of you who were unlucky enough to miss out on tickets, let me tell you, the atmosphere here is totally insane [loud cheers]! Even the zombies are letting themselves look a little bit excited.

We're down to the final twelve, and the tension is mounting like you wouldn't believe! So, before we go on, let's have a quick recap of our remaining contestants!

[As she speaks, the district seal, training score and tribute picture of the tribute flashes up on the screen, to the sound of ecstatic cheers]

He's an expert with the weapons, but a real softie at heart and I can tell you he's won plenty of ladies over; will Trey Rathbone find his spine?

Is Jewel Burgundy too intelligent for Avery's tricks, or will she let her guard down at the crucial moment?

Savannah Chaste isn't your normal District Two tribute, but that could easily swing the odds in her favour, right?

Everybody's favourite little robot; has Boo - sorry, Beau - Comberant got something up his sleeve, or is he just hanging on and hoping for the best? Either way, don't count him out!

This year's dark horse Avery Lockett has surprised us all, but can she keep going and take down everybody else or is she getting too big for her boots?

He's not the most entertaining tribute, but I'm sure he's perfectly capable; will Ezekiel Dah'li stay out of the way long enough to win?

Christopher Martin turns nineteen in five days' time, so will his age give him an advantage or is he just too nice?

She never shuts up and she's already offended many people here in the Capitol, but don't for one second think that will wreck her chances; Mercedes Fadle, everybody!

Perhaps the tribute with the biggest motivation, Rafe Southern has made people cry with that last little scene, but will he put it behind him and win it for his family?

Gavin has already proved that he can get his hands dirty, and we in the Capitol are head-over-heels for the boy from District Nine! But will his nerves fail him?

Rain Stonewall is the darling of this year's tournament, but does that make her easy prey or will her affection for Gavin prompt her into action?

And finally, she's crazy but whatever is going on in that little brain is working for her, the last of your Deadly Dozen is the quirky Ever Greenmore!
