Chapter 3

"Dad he is staring again and I can sense he is gonna attack" I drank from the drink Gilbert poured for me as I sat on the desk.

"Today is the day I will get you chief!" Zapp yelled and jumped at dad to kick him but dad blocked it with his arm then slammed Zapp to the ground and I heard a crack when he landed.

"Hopefully that was his spine" I took another sip from my drink.

"Morning Leonardo this man always tries to take me down whenever there is an opening" Dad explained to him "But he does sincerely want to kill so that might make a problem."

"If that happens he will become a corpse in a second" I glared at Zapp.

It's been a couple of days I was out on my own and no ever lets me but I wanted to get some sweets on the way back I found a corpse of a pizza guy "You alive?" I lifted up his head to find out it's Leonardo.

"Here does this help?" I put down a little packet of gummy bears.

He didn't move.

He got up a little while later, and we had to pick up Zapp and deliver a pizza "You eat the pizza your head is coming off" I threatened him.

"I won't, I haven't done it before anyway" He looked away showing he is lying.

"YOU HAVE!!" Leonardo shouted, and he then turned the bike quickly making us stop near a truck.

"Watch it, idiot!" Zapp yelled.

"Zapp Leah, what is that?" Leonardo asked quietly and nervously.

"I see a dry cleaner truck do you see something different?" I asked while looking at it suspiciously.

"Yes something completely different" He answered with fear in his voice and started moving again when the person or monster standing by the truck looked at us.

"Hey!" Zapp yelled.

"Our eyes met we need to get out of here," Leonardo said looking straight ahead.

"We should go tell dad and everyone else about this" I suggested.

Zapp called Chain to track the truck we just saw "SOMETHING'S COMING!!" I yelled as I sensed an attack.

It was too late and whatever it was made the bike crash throwing us off it "The hell is that?" I looked at the creepy thing.

Zapp is bleeding, and he grabbed Leonardo's coat then the monster picked us up by our clothes. I tried using my blood to attack, but I was knocked out.

I woke up to some desperate sounding animal "Sonic?" I asked as I opened my eyes.

"Your awake" Leonardo says happily but his expression went to concern when he saw me close my eyes and lean my head forward "What's wrong?"

Sonic went behind me and panicked making more noise "I think I'm bleeding out I won't be able to help us out my bracelets are gone" I told him as another dizzy spell hit me.

"Just stay still," He told and looked at my back, so I leaned forward and his eyes widened.

"I guess there is a lot of blood" I leaned back.

Leonardo opened his eyes to see where we are outside, and he said it's foggy so we are very deep "What the hell am I suppose to do? All I have is good eyesight and no killer moves!" He yelled.

"Then experiment with your eyes you will find a way," I told him.

"My eyes?!" He said like he remembered something.

He used his eyes to replace the driver's vision, so he only saw Sonic dancing "He better crash" I said out loud.

"What the hell have you done to us!?" The monster thing came running out of a door "What's with the monkey?!"

"What's with your ugly face?" I retorted.

The guy turned to me I had no idea if he was pissed or not because I can't even see a face in him he grabbed Leonardo by the neck stopping him from using his eyes.

"Close your eyes, Leah," He told me and I did just that and I felt the vehicle spin and crash.

My vision was blurry but I felt my hands are free from what confined them before I looked up weakly to see a blurry red colour and two familiar little green blurry dots "Hi dad thanks for coming to save" I mumbled with a small smile.

"You will be okay now" I felt his hold tighten on me and I closed my eyes and let my body rest.

We were taken to hospital all I needed was blood and to rest until my body isn't sore anymore Leonardo is covered in banadgaes. Steven told us the results of everything that happened and congratulated us.

Leonardo answered back with some mumbles because he couldn't talk with all the bandages on his face "Oh yeah Leah your dad stayed here the whole time waiting for you to wake up" Steven told me as I looked to dad he is sleeping with his head down on my bed and I can see him drooling making me giggle.

"I have a great dad" I smiled and played with his hair.

Steven told us that Zapp was actually Leonardo's bodyguard and I could see Leonardo shaking showing he is probably angry. I was better in a couple days and dad told me to stay and protect Leonardo just in case someone attacks us and I agreed.

He recovered quickly and only had to stay for a couple for more days, so we went to the garden in the hospital and sat by the fountain, and he took pictures with his camera. We saw this area no one was in, so we went through to find a cemetery.

"Maybe we could see some ghosts?" I said excited, and he didn't seem so keen on wanting to see one.

"But a cemetery at a hospital?" Leonardo said confused.

"Well, I guess its easier to bury the bodies quickly" I mumbled.

"It's very morbid" He commented.

Then I heard the laughter of a girl "That's why no one comes here and that could be a reason why they built the hospital next to this."

"Who are you?" Leonardo asked.

"I'm white, a ghost!" She exclaimed, "Let's be friends Leonardo Leah."

"How do you know our names? Maybe it's a ghost power, can you talk to the dead or see them? Can you poop?" I asked lots of questions, and she was smiling the whole time while Leonardo had an expression of confusion and Sonic doesn't know what's going on because he is a monkey.
