The stars look beautiful tonight. I wish I could just stay like this forever. I thought to myself as I sat up from the edge of the skyscraper onto the rooftop. I smiled lightly as I got up, but that happiness split into fear in a matter of seconds. I wanted to scream as I slipped off of the edge of the sky scraper, but I couldn't find the energy to do so. I felt my heart drop as I seemed to fall endlessly There's no way this is going to end well. I convinced myself as I soon felt only a second of pain before feeling numb all over as my vision faded as I looked up at the starry night sky one last time.
Where am I? I asked myself as I rubbed my head due to pain while trying to comprehend my surroundings. I soon rubbed my eyes five times before I saw it: my body sprawled on top of a black 2000 Chevy Cavalier. My eyes were open wide with fear while my arms were laying over the roof while my legs were curled within the boundaries of the car roof. I looked around to see a small crowd of people standing around in shock while one was on the phone with what I assumed was the police. I sighed while looking at a masked figure staring at the scene. They were just out of reach with the small crowd.
This night has been fantastic. I thought to myself after entering my apartment and staring at the paintings I made on the wall. They all seemed to have a gloomy feel to them, but I only recognized it now. I soon slumped on my couch while looking at the news blankly. A male had just fallen off the NewBorn Tower at 11:00 pm. Police are not sure about the cause of death. The individual has not been identified yet. A balding newsperson spoke on the TV. Yeah, I got too close and fell off. I thought as I changed the channel to the Ellen Show. I smiled happily as I watched a scientist do appear as a guest on the show as he brought in a gas canister and two beakers full of two different liquids. I smiled lightly as I tried to forget the picture of my body sprawled out on the car roof. I soon heard the door creak open. I froze and turned my head from the couch Who's there? I wondered.
