I wonder what those two are doing. I thought as I decided to sit on a chair that was near their table to see if I could pick up on anything they were talking about.

Jeremy looked at Annabelle with his green eyes as they seemed of a happy expression before going to a expression of worry, "Have you seen John or Randy?", He asked her.

Annabelle shook her head, "I haven't seen a sign of either of them.", She replied while drinking a thing of hot chocolate.

I felt my smile leave my face as I saw their worry only grew. No, don't worry about us. I thought to myself before I felt a small tug on my shoulder. I turned around to see John motioning towards the front door. "Sorry to bust the news, but we better be going.", He said as I saw a man dressed in black enter the café. What does he mean? Surely this dude can't cause that much trouble. I thought to myself while looking back over to the counter to see him order a meal. He then proceeded to go find a table, but it happened to be close to Annabelle and Jeremy's. I watched him closely as I heard his voice whisper, "I'm sorry to inform you too, but your friend Randy is dead.", He spoke in a coldish manner. Or he could completely ruin the mood like so. I thought to myself as I sighed upon seeing the way that Jeremy froze while Annabelle just stared blankly at the male.

"Tell me Mr. how you found this out!", Annabelle shouted as she stood up from the café table while looking at the male coldly.

"Ms. Lillian, please calm down. I work with the police. He was identified as the male who fell from the skyscraper a few hours ago.", The male spoke as he looked over at Jeremy with a more sympathetic look in his eyes.

"I didn't expect that. I should've checked on him sooner.", Jeremy spoke as he looked towards one of the café windows before sighing.

The black haired male sighed as he placed a hand on Jeremy's shoulder sympathetically. "I understand it can be hard. The police is doing their best to find out if it was a indirect homicide.", He spoke in a soft monotone voice.

Indirect homicide? I just fell from the roof. That's it no one pushed me. I thought to myself as I tried to recall the scene. I know I was sitting on the ledge while looking at the stars. That much I can remember. The wrong step I can remember. Is there something I'm forgetting? I asked myself as I continued to think back to the scene. "Are you okay?", A voice asked while breaking my train of thoughts. I turned to see it was John who asked me the question. "Yeah. I'm fine.", I replied to him as I saw a golden haired male walk past, but there was a burgundy aura around him.
