Jimin and Yoongi ended up in a tangled mess on the floor of Jimin's apartment, with his roommate, Jin, staring suspiciously at the boys.
"Awh," Jin said quietly, before realising the TV remote went missing, probably in the mess of blankets infront of him. He groaned, resorting to scrolling on his phone until they woke up.
Jimin rubbed his eyes softly, after around an hour, realising he was late for his other job. Gently pushing the still sleeping Yoongi off him, Jimin stood up and hobbled to his room to get ready.
9.15am
"Crap." Jimin said to himself as he pulled on jeans and a black silk shirt and ran out the apartment, smoothing his hair on the way out, saying a quick bye to Jin, who was still lying on the sofa.
He ran down the 4 flights of stairs and dodged the crowds of people on the streets. The whole area was poor, and the homeless were crowded under a tunnel, sheltered from the oncoming rain. Jimin spotted a boy sitting on the pavement separated from the crowd but drowned in rain with his black hair dripping water.
"Hey! Come on, I'll take you to a cafe." Jimin yelled towards the boy who looked up and shook his head slightly. He mouthed the words ' I'm waiting for my dad' and gave a short smile to Jimin.
Jimin nodded in response and continued jogging down the street until he finally approached the cafe that he worked at, the outside was covered in revealed brick and flowerpots. The inside however, had corners of different themes, one continuing the flowery, vintage vibes and others with high technology and country themes. "Hi Hobi, sorry for being late. I'll get to work." Jimin called out at Hoseok who was his boss for over 3 years. The job paid quite well but still wasn't enough to pay the rent with Jin, which led him to choosing the stripping job at night. A few hours passed as Jimin collected orders and fixed up meals for customers.
"Babe, hurry up." Yoongi said from the corner of bean bags, "I'm bored." Jimin replied with a chuckle, saying how he still had to work if he wasn't to get fired by Hoseok.
"Speaking of Hoseok, how's his mixtape going?" Yoongi asked, interested by the conversation, as he had been dying to work with Hoseok on his mixtape, but still hadn't built up the courage to ask.
"He told me to look out for any rappers, cause he wants to do a collab." Jimin responded while wiping the table, knowing Yoongi would be excited to hear about it. He shot up and walked over to the staff room, to talk to Hoseok while trying to hide his happiness, waving a quick bye to Jimin.
"I LOVE YOU." Yoongi yelled across the cafe to Jimin, who was about to fall asleep due to the lack of customers. "He's letting me collab with him, oh my fucking god." He said with a gummy smile spreading on his face.
"I'm gonna go home and practice everything, we're meeting tomorro-" Yoongi rambled quickly, his excitement glowing just before he accidentally got hit in the face by a customer opening the door. The stranger and Yoongi exchanged a look, before he left back to the apartment with the boy watching him walk away.
"Hi, I'm Jimin. Welcome to Flowerboy cafe!" He smiled at the boy, who still looked down at his shoes, shuffling them against the wooden floor. The boy brought his hands up to brush the hair out of his eyes, revealing bruises across his forehead. "Oh, oh my- it's you, the boy from the bridge," Jimin said surprised at the boy's bruises and that he was the same guy.
"J-jungkook." He said barely audible.
"What?" Jimin looked awkwardly confused at the sound that the boy made.
"It's my name." Jungkook said, a ghost of a smile on his lips, understanding crossed Jimin's face and he led the boy towards the sofas.
