months passed by...

it was now spring term and
seungmin and hyunjin went school.

they sat next to each other
through the boring lesson.

before they knew it,
class was already over and
the two were left alone in the classroom.

"i can feel you staring at me."
seungmin plainly spat,
not even glancing at the older,
focusing on the outside world.

"o-oh sorry."
he quickly apologised,
standing up to leave.

"it's alright."
he softly said,
less tensed than he was before
when hyunjin was
practically burning
holes through seungmin.

"do you need anything?"
minutes passed by,
seungmin and hyunjin joined
by the window,
watching everything happen.

"w-well... i miss you."

there was silence.

"i miss the happy you.
the you that had jisung,
the smiley minnie who took
photos of me
everywhere and anywhere."

he paused chuckling,
a tear slipping down his cheek
to his plump lips.

"my best friend,
who never once stopped
smiling.
i really miss him.
he's going through a rough time
and i feel like shit the way
i wanna help him.

what do i do, seungmin?"

the younger stayed expressionless,

"you do what you have to do."

he replied coldly and quickly.

but on the inside, deeply.

seungmin missed
the old him too.
