New Moon Part 5

"Is this a prank? It's cool but it doesn't make sense...after all this time people think I'm weird because I believe that vampires do exist.."

YoungAe said in disbelief. She is not sure about what to think about. She silently sit on a chair while taking a deep breath.

"You..you guys are vampires? Like..really?"

"It's a bit complicated but yes. We are"

Her brain is still processing about the whole situation.

"What happened to Donghan? I've read about the Blood Moon phenomenon but I'm not quite sure about it.. like is it real?"

Taehyun sit beside YoungAe and nodded.

"Yes, it's real. Donghan is a pureblood vampire which means..."

"He will be the one that affected the most.."

"Exactly. That's why I tried so hard to not let him go anywhere today"

"You could've told me earlier. I mean, I can help. My dad can too"

"We appreciate it but it's better for us to just stay quiet for now.."

"And let the humans destroy your kind?"

Taehyun stayed silent for a moment. He did not expect YoungAe to be the one that help them.

"You should stay away from us now.."

Yongguk speaks up for the first time. He keeps on fidgeting his fingers.

"Why are you acting like this? You know something, don't you?"

"They are coming for us..and this time they are targeting YoungAe because she's Jisoo.."

"Jisoo?"

"Who's Jisoo? It sounds familiar..."

"Seo Jisoo,I believe you know who she is"

"That's my grandma's name and what about it?"

Yongguk paused before he continue.

"Listen, you and your grandma have some sort of relationship with Donghan, this might sounds crazy but you can help him to become human again... I'm not sure how but we can try..."

"Destiny is really something, isn't it?"

Kenta spoke as he sits in front of YoungAe.

"You know, when your great grandfather know that Donghan is actually a vampire... he won't allowed your grandma to be near him but they always sneak out to see each other..."

Kenta smiled recalling the old times.

"I still remember.. one day, they sneaked out and went to the hills near our houses. When he went back home, he keeps on smiling to the point that he looked like an idiot.. but we don't mind that, he looked very happy that day. Things changed when your great grandfather..."

"Told them to stay away from each other.."

YoungAe finished Kenta's sentence.

"Yes.."

Yongguk continues to speak.

"Guys, I don't want to ruin this moment but the 'No Name' pack are looking for you. You should stay away from us now.."

"He's right, you should go home for now... Let me think of a plan, maybe? To make sure all of us will be safe"

Taehyun said as he get up from his seat, followed by Kenta. They seem to discussing about something.

"I will walk you home. Let's go before it's getting darker"

YoungAe just nodded her head.

Hyunbin offered to walk YoungAe home. The walk to YoungAe's house filled with silence but it is not an awkward silence, it is more to a peaceful silence until Hyunbin spoke first.

"I know this matter is not easy for you to understand, let alone being dragged into the upcoming mess but we will protect you.."

"I'm still processing what's going on here but I do believe you guys"

She admitted with a smile. That smile put a smile on Hyunbin's face too.

"You really look like her.."

With that they bid goodbye to each other.

"Did I hurt her?"

Donghan asked, rubbing his head.

"Almost, you're lucky that we came in time.. if not.."

Kenta answered as he sat next to Donghan.

"I'm sorry. I should've listen to Taehyun.."

He let out a sigh and keep his head down.

"You should rest..go to your room"

Donghan just nodded his head.

He went to his room and sat by the window, gazing at the stars above his head.

"I'm sorry..."
