Beep Beep.

I rolled over and hit the snooze button on my alarm clock. 8:00 am.  I groaned then sat up and threw my legs over the side of my bed and nearly screamed when I seen someone standing at the end of my bed until I realized it was only my sister.

"Lily! What are you doing in my room? I have to get ready for work!" I basically yelled but then lowered my voice down a bit remembering she was only six.

"I'm sorry Rylie. Mom told me to come wake you, I have to come with you to work today!" She replied, hopping up and down with excitement.

"Ok, but get out so I can get ready." And with that she was running out of my room still gleaming with happiness. I slowly stood up and closed the door behind her. Sometimes when mom was busy with errands or work I would take Lily to work with me. It was ok because the other waitresses loved having her around and she always behaved. I was a waitress at Sallys Cafe down the street. Lily, my little sister, loved coming to work with me and seeing everybody. I walked over to my closet and put on my work uniform and tossed my hair into a loose ponytail. I put on a bit of mascara and grabbed my shoes and ran downstairs.

"Lily! Are you ready? I'll leave without you!" I hollered grabbing a muffin from the kitchen counter.

"No no! I'm coming! Wait!" Lily yelled running into the kitchen panting from running so quickly. I giggled to myself and took a bite of my muffin while opening the front door. I took a step outside and let the warm breeze hit my face and started walking down the road holding Lily's hand.

After about a 10 minute walk I opened the door to 'Sally's Cafe' and stepped in. The smell of coffee and mint suddenly filled the space around me and I smiled.

"Good morning sunshine." Natalie the other waitress and my best friend greeted me as she walked by with two mugs in her hand. I pulled Lily to the front of the Cafe and placed her on a stool and handed her her magazines. I slipped behind the counter and grabbed my apron and tied it around my waist and started taking orders. The first 2 hours of work was dreadful. My feet were already sore and I was tired.  Natalie must have noticed because she turned the radio up.  The other employees didn't mind. Summer Paradise, one of my favorite songs came on and I felt my mood already begin to lighten up. I started humming to the song and eventually quietly singing along. Natalie walked by me laughing and she started dancing around for fun. I joined in since there wasn't many customers. I started to  do the moon walk and Lily giggled. I was still dancing until I bumped into someone.

"Oh! I'm so sorry!" I turned around and I was faced with the most beautiful emerald eyes I have ever seen.

"It's alright love. Are you ok?" The cute boy asked with a smile.

"Oh, uhm, ya I'm fine, thanks."

"I'm Harry and those guys are Zayn, Louis, Liam and Niall." Harry pointed to 4 guys sitting at a table near the window. They all waved and I just smiled back.

"I'm Rylie. I'll be right back to take your order." I smiled to Harry again and turned on my heels to go check on Lily.

"Hey Lil, you good?" I asked as I approached where she was sitting.

"Yup." She smiled not looking up from her kid magazine.

I turned and started walking back to where Harry and his friends were sitting. I approached their table and pulled out my notepad.

"Hi." I said with a smile. "Can I take your order?"
