Chapter 8: The Hunt Begins

(Update! I have to thank the first week of college for this. Most of my friends in this story have gone their separate ways and are learning individual skills. This story is kind of like that in some ways. The main group of friends was forced apart and now, they have to find their way back to each other and save the world. Ok, maybe this isn't like college, but I was able to get it done! Enjoy everyone!)

(Riku's POV)

                We landed in Disney Town. It was a little bit away from the castle, but a nice walk wouldn't hurt anyone.

"So, this is Disney Town" Namine said in awe as Logan looked around.

"Yeah. A bit toony, but we have friends here who can help us" I reassured her as we made our way to the square.

Logan was quiet as usual, but the town was quieter. That's odd. It supposed to be lively here. I wonder where everyone is... Usually, everyone would be out and about with their shops filled with goods.

"You've noticed it too. I wonder where everyone is?" I said as I marched forward with Namine behind me.

Logan then summoned his keyblade when he felt a strong, familiar power of light near them. I summoned mine as I pulled Namine behind us.

"Can you sense any memories nearby?" I asked her

"It is someone both you and Sora have faced before" Namine said in a shaky voice.

Well, at least I know this enemy then. Now, where is he? As the three of us cautiously looked around the entire area for the intruder, spaced began to distort around them! The crates and food stalls began to fall apart! Space... No... He's dead... Sora and I saw it. Logan pointed his keyblade towards the sky and unleashed a few dark purple blasts to break the spatial barrier around us.

"Ok, that was uncalled for. I was just causing a few distortions here for the Keyblade King. Is that so wrong of me?" that jovial, eerily familiar voice called out as he appeared from a dark corridor, "I mean, I didn't think I would run into you three so soon!"

He reveled his face to us. It was him. Namine trembled as Logan stood still in complete shock.

"You're the person who attacked us" he said in shock as I prepared to fight him.

(Roxas's POV)

I really didn't want to be back here of all places. I know Xion doesn't either, but the sooner we figure this out, the sooner we can all go home and rest.

"Is this just a white building?" Jodi asked as she examined the entire room we were standing in.

"Yes, but this entire building might have information about the attack at our time" I said seriously as I walked towards the hallway.

Xion looked around cautiously. We were both not too happy being back here after all. However, the two of us continued to walk to the library while Jodi stood still and looked at all the white furniture.

"Is there something wrong?" Xion asked concerned as Jodi stood still.

Jodi summoned her keyblade as she waited. I sensed it too and summoned Oblivion. I threw it at them, but it the wall and cracked it.

"Roxas!?" Xion shouted as Jodi slammed her keyblade on the ground.

The ground began to shake violently as a person landed on the ground. Jodi and I stood in front of Xion as we held our keyblades close to us. Who is that?

"Ventus? Is that you?" he asked as he faced us.

I don't know who this guy with the leopard mask is, but I am not my brother.
