Tonight is Gromit's big night where he gets to perform on stage but he is nervous. Wallace comes into his room. "Gromit? Are you alright? You can tell me anything that is troubling you." Said Wallace. Gromit shakes his head no. "Why? What's wrong?" asked Wallace. "I don't want to perform..." whined Gromit. "Just pretend you're in the dance studio lad, I bet that's what Ms. Cherry does when she is performing." replied Wallace. After arriving to the studio one last time before performance nights... "Hey guys! Today is our last day before performance nights!" exclaimed Ms. Cherry. Gromit then runs through his ballet and tap since that's all he does. Then came in Wallace and Firestar. They get on each side of the studio with Gromit sat down in a chair. "Get ready guys!!!" announced Ms. Cherry whose voice echos around the studio. She then presses play on their music disk. It accidentally plays Under the Waves but Ms. Cherry quickly changes it to Sea Cruise. "5,6,7,8!" said Ms. Cherry counting out the steps for them to run on "stage". They then start clapping up high and down low. Firestar shakes her tail off, with Wallace working his butt off. They pose. Gromit and Ms. Cherry claps. Both Firestar and Wallace are sweating after running through their tap, ballet, and jazz dances. The time came to performance night and EVERYBODY is in their first costume. Gromit is a fish for his first dance and a butterfly for his ballet. Wallace then helps Gromit into his first costume. After the first few dances, it's Wallace's and Firestar's turn for spotlight. They come running out and do their tap/tango dance. They bow and run opposite sides of the stage. Everybody claps and whistles for them. After a couple more dances it's Gromit's turn to shine. Three Little Fishies music turns on and Gromit walks to his spot that Ms. Cherry assigned him. He starts to slide off his number and touch. He slide touches one more time to get back on his spot, he then starts to shuffle hop step, and jump outs and jump ins. After a couple more shuffles, and showing the audience his tail wags, he curtsies twice, blows a kiss to the crowd of cats and dogs and walks off stage. Everybody went silent then went absolutely insane with claps and whistles. After a couple MORE dances it came to Gromit's ballet dance. He tip toes out to his new spot. He starts to slide off his number and doing plies. After his dance he curtsies twice again and walks off stage. After the rest of the dances came, the time came to finale. The audience claps for each class that comes on stage. Wallace and Firestar comes on and bows and everybody in the crowd screams, yells, and whoops for them. When Gromit's class comes out the crowd goes WILD! They all sing their finale song. Ms. Cherry then presents Gromit, his first ever trophy. He puts it on his shelf when he gets home and ends up falling asleep in his master's arms.
