(Lexis' POV)
"1 zach get a hold of yourself and yes I'll hang out with you" I said cutting him off but the relief shown on his face is adorable, OH SHIT DO I LIKE ZACH, wait but that's crazy right I mean he acts like a child all the time, oh but it's adorable and ok fine I might like zach but I don't think we'll be any more than friends right?
(Zach's POV)
HOLY SHIT SHE SAID YES SHE SAID YES. All I want to do is jump around with excitement but I can't right now
"Ok I'll pick you up at 6 or 7 and we are going to the beach" I said laying down across her bed
"You're such a dork" Lexis said and giggles and plays with my hair a little oh God I love her
"I'll take being a dork any day" I said giving her a cheeky smile
"Go I gotta get ready" she said pushing me off her bed
"Fine and you don't need make up" I said
"Ok" she said
I look over and notice the wall is caved in a bit.
"Hey Lex?" she hums in response and looks where I was staring and she turned pale "what happened"
"Ummm w-welllllll" she stuttered
"Lexis what happened" I asked worried
"DUSTIN CAME HERE WHEN YOU GUYS WERE OUT AND BEAT ME AND AFTER THAT I CUT MYSELF" she she dropped to her knees crying and I ran over to hug her. She hugged back crying into my chest. "I tried breaking up with him I swear b-but he j-just threatened me"
(Lexis' POV)
I broke I broke down in the arms of the only person who keeps me a live. I know what you're thinking oh Lexis you were unsure if you liked him yea yea blah blah.
Zach doesn't ask much about my situation with school or my relationship he just shows that he'll be the shoulder to cry on and believe me I need that and he doesn't put me in Daniel's shadow. Lucille she says zach could be my "soulmate" I don't believe in soulmates. Do I believe in perfect matches? Nothing is perfect but yes I do believe that.
Maybe zach is perfect for me.
I'm just scared.
"Shhhhh I got you and I'm not going to let him lay a hand on you" zach said
"Fucking bullshit Daniel promised the and the very next day I get beaten to the point I'm coughing blood but you know at least he didn't rape me like the last two times" you go girl breaking like the girl who wants death
"Lex" I cut him off
"Why do I just listen to promises and they are just broken"
"Lexis what's wrong" well shit now I got big brother Daniel here to save the day and be rid the demons if only we were younger and it actually worked
"Nothing just leave I want to be alone"
"Ok" Daniel leave and zach kisses my head and leaves
(Daniel's POV)
"Zach what the hell happened" I quickly asked
"Dustin" was all he said
"What did he do now"
"Let's see he beats and cheats on Lexis, rapes her and doesn't believe in her and he came here today and beaten her. The wall is caved in there is some blood on the floor and she cut herself right before we got here" he blurted out with tears running down his cheeks
"Zach do you love Lexis?"
