Jughead:
It's been a week since I started dating Ginger, and to be honest I don't feel the satisfaction as I did when I pretended to date cooper. Speaking of Betty, I think she was upset, she hasn't talked to me since last weeks detention, I don't know what happened, she knew the plan. I saw Betty in the hallway with Veronica and Archie and decided to pull her aside.
"Jughead?"
"Betty, is there anything you want to tell me?" She looked around.
"No." She said.
"Hm, that's funny, because you've been ignoring, ever since me and Ginge have been dating." I said.
"How selfish are you? We had a deal, and now the deal is done." She tried to walk away.
"Yeah, but we were becoming friends."
"Oh, Jughead, you don't know the difference between friends and people you use." She said.
"What is wrong with you?" I asked.
"I'm..."
"I'm..."
"...lost and I need to find Veronica."
"Okay I'm done with you." I told her and we went in separate directions. The bell rang and she rushed down the hallway. I'm not done with her, but I wasn't in a good mood. Not to be mean or anything but the last time I talked to her, I don't Remember her having a bump on her stomach. The next week went by and she stopped me in the hallway.
"Hey can I talk to you about...homework?" She asked.
"Okay I'll text you later?" I asked, with Ginger next to me, playing with my hair.
"Now actually! She pulled me into the blue and gold room.
"Betty, What the hell do you want?" I asked.
"Did you get the science homework?"
"Fuck that, I know damn well you didn't come here to talk about science homework." My voice raised a little. She looked down at her shoes. "So what is it? Is it my girlfriend?" I asked.
"No it's just, I thought we were getting closer..." she said softly. "And then she posts you with that caption." She looked in my eyes. I looked away.
"Betty we were friends, that's all we'll be, okay, I'm your best friends cousin, that's all we'll be is friends." As much as it hurt me to say it, something so untrue, because let's face it, I don't like ginger, I only dated her to get close to Betty and I already pushed her away enough.
"Excuse me." She ran out teary eyed.
"Wait Betty." I ran after her.
"No jug, it's fine, I'm fine, you obviously don't feel what I feel so I'll just leave." As she was about to turn away I grabbed her hand and led her back into the room.
"Listen Betty, you really think I would go to detention with you and sat with you while you cried, if I didn't care about you? If it were for ginger Ditch, but I do care about you." "I fucking love you."
"I love you too." I hugged her and we left for the day, everyone was already gone it was just us and the custodians. She wanted to walk by herself so I have her the space, little did I know I would run into her again...
