chapter4-A man in the mask?

It was a man!He had some thing in his hand,which looked like a knife!The object the man was holding had a liquid substance dripping off of it landing on the floor,like a snail,leaving a trail behind him.

Neither Katie,Nina or Jess could quite make out what the object the man was holding was nor the substance dripping off of it.

They all wondered if anyone else at the park noticed this mystery man,but it seemed not.

Katie was first to speak.

"Let's walk this way and hopefully he won't notice."

Nina and Jess answered with a nod of the head ,then followed Katie as she started to lead the way.

They noticed which ever direction they walked in he followed.

"Let's go!" whispered Katie,as they all ran to the bench where they left their items .They quickly grabbed their stuff and ran out of the gate without having time to change their football(soccer)boots.Jess was the only one to turn around and as she did so,she noticed the man was following them.Again?

He wasn't running, which made it even more creepy on how he managed to keep up with them.The man was wearing blue jeans a black top and what looked like a mask.The mask was creepily realistic with visible wrinkle lines scar lines and stitches on the corner of his mouth .But then again,he might not be actually wearing a mask.

As Jess was about to turn the corner,she had another quick look at the man.But the man just stopped.He was just standing there just staring.Doing nothing but staring.In a way this way worse than following them as when they walk down the alley they have to walk down in order to get home he could be waiting for them...

The girls thought he was gone but as the were walking past the little shop on the way home,they saw him ...
