Kyler's Pov
I woke up from my slumber after a few days , and I still can't believe it . Seeing a big stone in front of me , with some words wrote down it . I'm speechless .
" It's my name ! "
Flashback
" I guess it's your time to replace my job at the company . " My father said , lying on his bed . My father was a CEO at the biggest company in my country , and of course he wanted me to replace his job .
" But dad , I'm too young for work . " I reply . I'm getting tired hearing the same sentence everyday . I'm not even shock . I'd heard the conversation about replacing my father's job . All of his assistant agree to choose me as his replacement , but someone doesn't agree . He was my father's best friend , Mr. Anderson . He wanted his son , Mike to take care of the company . Even though I don't want to be the CEO , I have no choice but to accept it .
Few days later , It's the biggest day ever . The day I got chosen to be the next CEO . Everyone at the party were so happy and excited , but there's me . Looking very calm and didn't react happily as the others . But then someone said,
" Congratulation on your new job , " I realise that it was my best friend, Mike. He looked mad, but I choose to ignore it .
"Thanks , man . You know I don't want to be the CEO , but since my father wants me to be , I can't refuse ." I said . He looked at me with a serious face .
" Let's have some time together before you getting busy with work later . " He said, pulling my arm and took me to the restroom nearby .
" Uhm , ok but why in the restroom ? " I said quickly pulled my arm back. But before he says anything , i noticed that he pulling something out from his pocket . I'm curious.
" Well , if we are outside , people will know it and they will push me into the jail . " He said , smiling .
" What do you mean by push you into the jail ? Why will they do that ? " I reply him with a serious face , not even smile to him .
" Because they will know that I'm tryna kill you !" He whispered , kinda shouted. He pulled out his little knife to stab me, but I've prepared myself before he can stab me . I grab his arm and twist it to the side , make his knife fell off from his hand .
" What ? W..why ? What have I done to you ? " I shuttering . His arm was way too strong for me to stop him. He didn't reply me back but reply me with his fist . He punch me at the face that makes me fall onto the ground . That was hurt .
While I still unstable , he took a chance to grab his knife and stab me at the heart . "Goodbye my friend , rest in peace ." It was the last sentence I heard before my vision turned into black .
Flashback ended
" I guess they failed on saving me " I said even though there is no one at the graveyard .
"It been 8 years since you being my friend , someone that helped me a lot , someone that always at my side in any situation I'd been through , someone that fought people that bullied me , but I can't believe it .." Tears started to fall on my cheek
" Someone that I believed in my entire life .. betrayed me .." I said , smiling . "I was a fool back then ." I continue .
" Guess I will need someone to help me revenge . " I said , turned myself into a cat . I don't know where I've learn it .
" Cool . " I said amazed. I started to run to the town .
