Chapter 9 - Don't get to cocky boys

Knight's POV

We are now in the 5th game of the season. That means 2 more games and we will be in the semi finals. We're up against Peru and the player are:

Kiyoshi Teppei, Reo Mibuchi, Makoto Hanamiya, Kotaro Hayama, Eikichi Nebuya. Well yeah nilagay ko ang Uncrowned Kings. Alam ko, baliw na kung baliw. Eh sa kulitin ka ba naman ng girlfriend mo at ng cute na bunso mong kapatid eh hindi ka ba papayag? And yes po tinutukoy ko po sina Kira at Gwendal.

Si Gwendal kasi nung nag-te-training kami para sa simula ng AGOMC puro sina Reo-kun, Kotaro-san at si Kiyoshi ang kinakausap. Ayun kinulit si Kira na kulitin ako para ilagay ang uncrowned kings sa isang game. Well I can't say NO to those two.

"TIME OUT!" sinigaw bigla nung referee. Wait hindi naman tumawag ng time out ang Peru ah. Tumingin ako sa likod ko at nakita ko si Haru-nee na nakapamewang. Ang alam ko expert siya sa tennis at hindi sa basketball. So ano ginagawa ni Nee-chan dito?

"Ne ne Nee-chan, ano ginagawa mo dito?"

"Ah eh si Kira at Gwendal kasi nag-text. Nanonood kasi sila ng laban and I happened to be watching sa bleachers. Bakit hindi niyo daw buksan? Malapit na ang semi-finals buksan niyo na daw. Eto pa nga yung text eh."

Pinakita niya yung cellphone niya na punong puno ng mga message ni Kira. Nagbuntong hininga nalalng ako at tumayo para mag-signal ng time out. Umupo na sila sa bench at sinabi ko na ang pinasasabi ni Kira sa kanila. "What do you thingk your doing?!" The coach on the other team. "Well they say that this team rearely calls a time out, guese we gave them challenged?"

_Time Skip_

Bumalik na kami sa nirentahan namin na gym at kinausap si Kira. Well ano pa ba inaasahan natin? Yup nanalo kami and dinaganan ako ni Gwendal at Kira. At least walang sermon. The score? 139-50. Well Makoto and Kotaro got angry and all and opened the little gate to the zone so yup they got the package of 5x the training from Kira.

 She went to the upper level to see the whole court I gues but I think she'll just sing in silence there. I turned on the speakers and the wireless mic and went to where Kira is. She noticed me yet ignored me, okay masakit ang ma-ignore, at nilagay ko yung mic sa tabi niya, good thing hindi niya napansin. Then she started to sing while having her ear phones in her ears.

As she sang the whole gym felt silent habang kumakanta si Kira. She once had a tragedy in her life and that song is what she always sang that time. She got over it.

I looked down at the court and signed them to continue what they're doing. They played yet it seams like they want to listen so I just let them.

The song ended at natulala silang lahat, nako po patay tayo dyan. Kinuha kokaagad yung mic at tinago sa loob ng jersey jacket ko. Inalalayan ko si Kira na tumayo at bumaba na kami. Nakatulala silang lahat saming dalawa. Kira sighed and grabed a ball, she still is lisening to her music.

She dribled the ball a got pass everyone who is still staring at me. Well ginagawa niya naman ito noon pa eh. Hindi lang nila alam. Ginamit ko yung whisle para mawala ang mga boys sa pagka-tulala. Nagtaka yata sila kung nasaan si Kira kaya tinuro ko.

"She's at the other end of the full court. At kung tatanungin niyo kun ano ginagawa niya? She's just basketball dancing. Wag niyo akong tanungin kung ano ang BASKETBALL DANCING ask her later and watch."

She's standing in the middle of the half court and then sudenly dribbled the ball while clapping her hands. She then threw the ball backwards and did a back flip, catched the ball and danced hip-hop, pop lock, then shot a one man alley-up but beffor the last shot she spun then jumped to shoot the ball to the farther hoop.

Everyone was shocked when she landed gracefuly in her feet. I for one have seen her play yet not that kind of play. "Knight let them play FUJIKOTO I'll be going somewhere I'll be back don't worry." Then she took her bag and went of. The FUJIKOTO ha? I gues that they have to learn that now. I said to myself. "Okay guys gather around." said I while clapping my hands.

"If you guys are wondering what is the FUJIKOTO you guys need to listen well.Oh and dont hold back on the questions."

"So what is FUJIKOTO and how long did you guys know this? I mean you and Kira." - Momo said

"Well back when we where 5 years old. Our parents realy do this and we got facinated so we tried when we where 7 but realy we mastered it 3 years later. Well for now I'll teach you the basic."

"So do you need to perfect this?" - Taiger

"Yes you guys kinda need to. The GOMA knows this, well just the basic things and other stuffs. I bet that Mira got a text or a phonecall from the GOMA thats why she ran somewhere to get the stress out of her. Oh and you guys can call her Mira when she's not around."

"So what is the FUJIKOTO?" -Akashi

"The FUJIKOTO is some kind of training menu for us. We just made the meaning so bare with it. FU means to have FUN, that is he first key, even if you lose to someone it will only hurt a little if you had fun and gave it your all. JI means Just Instincts, sometimes our moves go wih the flow of the game yet those are just instincts to other movements. KO, by the word KOKORO, use your heart even if you doupt it, the heart has more power than the mind yet letting your emotions over control you is a bad thing, stay open minded. TO, To Oversee, to see/oversee the movements of your oponent. 4 things tha you need to use in every game you get into."

"So basicaly you guys have to completly master the FUJIKOTO thats why we're here."

Someone spoke. A familiar voice of a boy. I turned to see who and it was my best friend, Jackson. He was a friend of mine, Mira, Ru and Al in France. Simply met a basketball court there and became friends. Surprisingly he knows how to speak Japanese.

I saw Mira, Ru and Al behind him. We greated each other and introduced Jackson to the whole team. He (Jack, his nickname) then look at the whole team and said. "Now that the Breakers are here, you guys can win what competition you are in."

Mira then stepped up. "But even if the top basketball team has assembled you guys can't let your guard down. Dont get to cocky boys."
