jaemin walked as fast as possible, hurried himself and even other people to pay for the cake and ran to jenos house. he didn't care about the weird looks people were giving him, he needed to be there for jeno.
the younger was glad their friends had convinced him before that day came up as he's been there for jeno every single year at that day and wouldn't have forgiven him if he wasn't there this year.
as he had arrived, he didn't even need to knock before the door flung open and he was pulled into a bone crushing hug. of course jeno took care that the cake didn't get crushed.
"thank you.", the older quietly whispered before tears started streaming down his face.
