"my treat. order as much as you want, you've became pretty thin.", jaemin mumbled as they had found a table in the restaurant. jeno looked on the card and immediately water filled his mouth.
the last time he had a good meal was a few weeks ago when doyoung had treated him before he left to america. though he knew jaemins family didn't need to worry about money, he felt somehow bad for getting treated.
"how b-"
"no. eat. stop feeling bad, you treated me a while ago, remember? now it's my turn.", the younger smiled at him before he again slurfed his noodles. jeno sighed as he started eating his portion, almost immediately forgetting about his worries as the food tasted incredible.
between them was a comfortable silence, while around them people were chatting about this and that. they glanced at each other here and there and blushed as they caught one another staring.
as they finished eating and jaemin had payed, they decided to walk along the han river as the sun was setting which made everything look incredibly beautiful.
"h- how have you been?", jeno quietly asked, suddenly getting scared of jaemin leaving again.
"pretty lonely i have to admit. i was a dumbass, and i'm sorry for that. i shouldn't have left you.", though the younger wasn't looking at jeno but still observing the sunset, his voice gave away that his apology was sincere. "i won't leave you again. i promise."
the older nodded, a wide smile forming his lips as he joined jaemin in enjoying the view of the water, his heart now skipping a faster beat.
