i stumbled upon the streets as i walked down them heading to payton's hotel. i was nervous. more than nervous. i'm not good at telling people how i feel and it is terrible when i try to do so. i did really like payton, a lot. i just... didn't know how to say it.
when i reached the hotel i entered and told the receptionist that payton was looking for me. he quickly replied that i could go upstairs to his room.
i was lucky and he was alone. it would have been really weird if he was with chase or noen or even avani. oh, avani. she had asked me if i liked payton... she knew. she was the only one that knew. not even hannah knew... if hannah discovered that i liked payton she would have killed me.
i knocked on his door and waited peacefully for him to open it up. i looked at the ground and then lift my head when i heard the door open.
he looked at me and i just gave him a sad smile.
"come in! don't stay out there," he said, with a wide smile on his face. i envied the way he was able to handle his feelings toward me. like, he liked me but when we were face to face he could act just like if we were friends.
i sat on his bed and he sat on chase's, looking all the way to me. i couldn't say anything, even though i was the one that wanted to meet up to talk about what... we had, or what i felt.
finally i opened my mouth. "i like you, payton."
he was highly surprised which made me lower my head and blush heavily.
payton shook his head and chuckled nervously. "seriously? that is... uhm... wow..."
we stood in silence, and i wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. suddenly, payton stood up the bed and sat next to me. he laid his head on my shoulder and i laid my head on his. i sighed and i all i could hear in that moment were his heavy breathings.
"you know i like you too," he replied. "what do you want to do?"
"i don't know."
he laughed. "you don't?" he got off me and took my head between his hands. "you're so cute."
he kissed my nose and i frowned.
"what was that?" he blushed after doing it and plucked his lips.
"i didn't know if you wanted me to kiss you, or...," he started, nervously. "i thought that maybe a peck on your nose would... ehm..."
i giggled, loudly, and kissed his lips lightly. when we broke the kiss he smiled widely and then i realised i had kissed a 4 year old boy.
"so... do you want to, uhm," he breathed. "be my, uhm... girlfriend?"
"payton," i laughed loudly. i even had to cover my mouth. he looked adorable. "yes, i do."
"oh my god thAT WAS SO CUTE," we heard a voice behind the closed door.
payton and i looked at each other and he opened it, just to see chase hudson, noen and avani next to it, trying to hear what was going on here.
chase looked to a random place while noen and avani ran away.
payton sighed. "you'll never stop, will you?" and chase simply clapped happily at us.
