The ground begins to rumble beneath my feet, my hands begin to shake and my eyes dilate as I watch the Akuma begin to rock backwards and forwards I try to stand up my legs weak I pull myself up off the floor but as I regain I realise that I only had enough strength to stand, I can’t move!
‘Haha hahaha hahahahaha its time!’ I hear a voice boom; I look around trying to find who said that but to no avail, I turn back to watch the Akuma, what the?!? The Akuma is glowing! The rubble around me and the Akuma begins to shake and hover slowly towards it its solid body begins to slowly change into a almost gelatinous form spreading itself outwards then it moves back into itself, as it does it forms a humanoid shape and its colours change until the glow fades revealing a human like creature, its face half concealed by a mask and its clothes has some strange resemblance to a cowboy, it takes out a gun from its sleeve and twirls it around In the air
“Where shall I shoot you first” it questions as it throws the gun in the air
“maybe your face” it comments catching the gun and pointing it at me
“No no no, that would be too painless, how about the leg?” it questions, a cold sensation runs through my spine as I consider what sadistic monster is behind that mask but it’s no time for to be thinking things like that, I must do something! But what can I do?
My hands tremble as I raise them slowly, I move one leg back and take a fighting stance, I don’t know what is rushing through my mind, how could I fight something like that?
“Hehe and I thought you’d just lay there and die” the monster comments as it takes a step towards me, they eye uncovered by the mask glows red as it raises its gun and points it directly at my head
“Oh there’s another exorcist here!” the Akuma exclaims as it shifts its gun slightly lower and to the left, I check over my shoulder to see the exorcist from earlier laid on the floor
“Should I kill him first?” It asks itself while once again twirling the gun again
“Get the hell away from him!” I scream as I dive towards him, suddenly everything becomes dark I rub my eyes thinking the Akuma had blinded me but to my disbelieve it didn’t! I wave my arms around in the air hoping to figure out what is happening. I feel something! It’s soft yet strange to touch what is it? I push on it and as I do beams of light begin to leak it my eyes burn slightly but adjust quickly to the light, what the?!? Im surrounded by feathers! I stand back up and move my arms to my side
“Akuma I will not let you hurt this man” I say as I feel the wings move from around me and settle behind my back
“Is that a challenge?” It mocks twirling its gun once more. I swing my arm forward trying to will the wings to hit it, nothings?!? I try to think how I can make the wings work when I suddenly realise earlier the exorcist had to say ‘innocence activate’ to use his so does this apply for me? Only one way to find out!
“Innocence Activate!” I yell at the top of my voice as tears well up in my eyes hoping that something would happen. Nothing. I look over my shoulder to see the wings refusing to move
“Heh, what’s this all bark and no bite?” The Akuma asks walking closer towards me, I had never been so afraid in my life! What can I do to stop it? Even now after I used the ‘Innocence’ I’m still useless
“Dam it! Dam it! Dam it! I Won’t Die!” I bellow at the top of my voice, the room begins to tremble and a strange sensation rushes though my body, the sensation seems to pass though me and congregate around my back that was when I knew that I might live though this! I run towards the Akuma with a intent to destroy that monster!
