Catalyna Reyes, a Lieutenant in the Vigil's forces paced back and forth absently. She looked over her shoulder, seeing the carnage left in their wake. Dead Mantle soldiers and constructs littered the battlefield behind their group. Ragged tents as worn and weathered as a ship's sail which was left adrift across the great jade sea surrounded her. The smoke from campfires drifted lazily up and out of the vale in small pock marks. "We are going to be launching another strike against those walls soon. Make sure you are ready." The woman said, addressing her own troops. She paced back and forth, the sound of her beaten and worn armor clanking as she did. The gear's belts and buckles having loosened from overuse and various tribulations. "For now, eat, sleep where and when you can and make sure your weapons are sharp. The Bastion will fall, and the Mantle and their Bloodstone threat will be dealt with." She confidently. Her eyes flitted up toward the wall once more, the woman's hair dancing lightly in the warm jungle breeze that swooped down into the Valley. "For Tyria, we mustn't falter now."
