Eunse's pov
we finally debuted after such a long torturous time. of course the fans of CIX recognised me immediately after seeing our concept photos and tried to stir up controversies right after our debut but Jinyoung immediately cleared them saying that we were friends who were really close in his vlive. he then asked for permission to show fans sneak peaks of us dancing together which managed to convince them that we were just friends with the same interests in mind.

our group also did dance videos after our debut and uploaded for our fans to see. i don't know why but i just loved going back to the comments section where fans would compliment us for being a group filled with main dancers. it makes me happy to see that all our fans see us as dancers of the same level.

the dance videos we did were choreographed by me. the songs we danced to were my favourite songs which lead me to choreographing a dance.

Jinyoung did ask me if we could continue dancing together and i was hesistant to accept it but he kept telling me it's part of his treatment for my phobia. i reluctantly agreed and we were back to dancing together once again. the recent dance we did was to a song "I Know What You Did Last Summer". both me and Jinyoung choreographed the dance steps together. when our ceo knew about us still staying back late even after dance practice , he suggested that we upload our dance videos to the public since it was attracting a lot of attention. the fans reacted pretty positively towards us still continuing the dance videos but...there's always someone who tries to ruin it all.

Dispatch continuously stalks both me and Jinyoung back to our dormitory whenever we stayed back late for extra dance practice together. before the fans knew where my group lived , Dispatch accused me of still living with the CIX members because we entered the very same building and said that we were dating, my ceo had to clear things up and that ended up revealing our dormitory location to convince the public we were not dating.

it did not stop there. they just kept finding things to convince people that me and Jinyoung were dating. things like us allegedly wearing couple items like bracelets that LOOKED similar , same bucket hats when we both like wearing them , similar looking jackets etc.

no one actually believed Dispatch since their evidences were really vague. i was kinda relief my group's dormitory was the same as CIX's because it makes things so much easier for me and Jinyoung to see each other. most idol couples rarely see one another if they were dating in public but things are so much easier with the both of us staying next to each other.

that's right , we're actually in a relationship. a secret one.

it's not a problem for me because my group wasn't under a dating ban but Jinyoung has that problem. which was why only our members knew about our secret relationship. how? you might wonder. well , my phobia is all gone now thanks to him. we did dance moves that made me so used to dancing with a guy or being near one so i wasn't scared of guys anymore.

flashback

"i am drained." i sprawled onto the floor after running through the dance for the 26th time. "you worked hard." Jinyoung said rolling my bottle of water to me. "say , you're actually much more daring now huh. you used to be unable to make eye contact with me but now you're doing it even when we're not filming." Jinyoung said. "come to think about it , you're right..does that mean my phobia is..?" "it's gone Eunse! look at your breathing normally while talking to me making eye contact!" Jinyoung cheered.

"well , maybe it's just you i'm comfortable with." i sighed. "nope , if you think about it you're no longer avoiding eye contact with my members too! come on Eunse , just accept that i got rid of your phobia." Jinyoung said. "yeah yeah whatever." i replied. Jinyoung suddenly came closer to my face and studied it. "what are you looking at?" i asked. "you look like my girlfriend." Jinyoung said.

the moment i heard girlfriend , i thought i heard shatters from my chest. "you have a girlfriend?" i asked trying not to sound flustered. "nope." he smiled. "oh." i stayed silent just like how he did until i realised what message he was conveying. "wait-" "that's right Oh Eunse , you're my girlfriend from today onwards. day 1 starts now." he kissed me on the lips without permission making me freeze.
