Chapter-8

Aram's POV

"So you thought that girl from last day was your friend?". John offered when she finished her story and went silent.

"Yeah... But not anymore...". She said deep in her thoughts.

"Why?". I asked.

"What 'why'?". She asked dubiously.

"If she was your that closest one, how could you possibly mistake her for someone else.. And why don't you think it's her?". I explained.

"Huh?? What?? Are you kidding me?? Do you think she will play this dumb game if she get to meet me after all these years?". She stopped and continued. "Yeah!! And I would say, this girl looks like exact how my girl would look after these years...". She finished.

"Okay... Now you are saying that??". John scratched his jaw.

"Isn't there a saying that goes like ' there will be 7 people alike you in this world'. Maybe I had that golden opportunity of meeting 2 out of them for good". She sighed.

"But............". I found it difficult how to put it in words. But John helped the case.
"But she kept saying something". John offered.

"Yeah... I too thought over it.... She might be insane to say such things". She said unsure of what she was saying.

"She said she have information on your friend and she do exactly look like her.. So,-". John started but Kat didn't let John to chant anymore.

"Dear John... Please say anything but she might be her twin sister". She snapped at him.

"But why? It can also be a possibility". John said, so Kat sensed it right.

"It's a big NO John... Because if she ever had any, I  should've known".

Aram's POV

"Okay. Then it's closed". I said when our group fell into a long silent after her short but a long story.

"What?". John asked waving his hands side to side.

"The chapter about that girl is closed. As far as she is neither your friend nor your friend's twin sister, she is no way related to us". I said to Kat by indicating us 3.

"And FYI, that two possibilities are damn impossible". Kat said, stressing IMPOSSIBLE.

"So it's time to....".

"One last question before burying the topic". John cut me off, he knows me well.

I looked towards Kat, she nodded. So.. Here he goes...

"But... Where had she gone?". John asked.

We gave him a dubious look. What is he up to??

"I haven't noticed her anywhere here after that encounter with Kat last day. And I didn't spot her anywhere today too". He finished.

"Who knows?". Kat said with an uninterested look.
"Who knows even she is a student from here? What if she was simply pulling a prank on me". She completed, casting an annoyed look on her face. And instantly I caught her mood dropping. It's time to lift our moods!!.....

"Oh man!! Who cares what she is... It's time to chill. Let her alone go to hell". I said shoulder-bumping  Kat.

"Are you in, dear?". I asked Kat. Okay... Let's say I'm trying my best to lighten up the environment..

"In what?". She asked me suspiciously.

"To freeze". I said.

"What?".

"I mean 'to chill out' ". I cleared.

"Yup. I'm in". She said while getting up "you too are in this, John. And as clear as daylight, you are going to be in my team no matter what happens. Okay?".  She said.

"Okay....". He said.

"BTW, let's try not to include anymore girls in our story. Our story is meant to be a good one with humor and with a happy ending but not a tragic one". I said eyeing Kat with a half smile.

Yeah... I think I have hit the cord by including girls... Now the fun starts!!.. Hahaha...

I was already running when I heard Kat say: " Join me John. This is going to be fun". And then we were all running, they tailing behind me.

When John was about to reach me, I stopped dead in my track.
"John... You can't do this. It's a girls v/s boys thing. And you are siding with her?". I tried my luck trying to change John's side. Yeah!! I know it's a petty thing.... But guys.. What do you think? We have been running like this for a while now. And didn't I say?? John is a damn good runner. I can't take it anymore.
It is time that kat reached us. 
"Don't near us. It's now 2 against 1 ". I said fake-smirking. Because I wasn't sure about John and his wicked brain.

"John... Don't you dare jump sides". She said accuse-shouting at him.

"Who said so?? He only said the truth". He said. Oh god!! So there is still some brain cells left in his head.

" It is absolutely 2 against 1. 'We' against 'him' ". He completed.
Oh dear god!! Was I dreaming about his brain cells??!!!....Anyway, what was I expecting from him other than the unexpected.

And then, I got no time to think. We were busy running & throwing anything that came on our way on each other.

"It's time to chill". Kat called out while throwing some smelly stuff on my face. And then the rest is history.
