Jinhyuk has invited Yunseong into the group

Jinhyuk:
Hey guysss
This is dongsaeng I mentioned before
From yoonshin university

Minha:
I thought u said there are two people?

Yunseong:
Belloooo
Ah only I able to join y'all
My friend has promised his friend to form a group to perform.
So he can't make it for us

Soyeon:
Did ur friend just leave u alone just to join his friends:(:(

Yunseong:
I guess so😭😭😭

Junho:
Can y'all don't be so dramatic

Seungwoo:
Kids
Don't forget tonight meeting
We gonna decide our song and positions

Dongpyo:
Ne appa!

It's almost evening right now. So yohan and I decided to go together to dance studio so we won't be late for our meeting. While Soyeon will go there together with Minha.

"Hey guys" I wave as I see all of them reach already.

"We arrived at the right time we aren't late okayyy"

"Noona don't overreact we don't even blame you tho" Dongpyo pouts and I ruffle his hair, making Eunsang holds my wrist to stop me.

"Noona, we can start as you both come, come sit with me!" Eunsang holds me to sit near him in the form of circle, yohan follows and he sits at another side of mine.

"So you're yunseong? Halo" I wave at the guy who sits opposite to me and he waves back

"Hi Noona"

"So now we gonna start to discuss, for me, I have discussed with seungwoo hyunh, we think that it's better if we split into two groups. We're afraid if there are too many people in a group, perhaps the audience couldn't pay attention on each of us. Then some of us might be neglected."

"Ya, I agree, and if we split out, each of us can have more parts to sing and show more of our talent" Minha adds

We nod agreeing. Soon, we decide to random choose our groups since we don't know how to choose. Hyeongjun writes two number on 11 paper and fold it into small pieces. He picks them up and shakes before throwing onto the floor.

Dongpyo being cute and quickly picks up one piece, soon others follow

"I get 1!"

"I get 2! Hey,who's with me?"

"I get 1! Appa what did you get? Yes I'm in same group with appa!"

"What you get" I ask yohan who has opened up the paper, he shows me the paper revealing the number '1'. I smile and I show him mine, which written the same number.

"Noona, you get 1 too? Yes I'm with you!!" Eunsang shouts excitedly as I nod.

"So guys, let's say what you get"

Hyeongjun writes down our groups and list the members.

In group 1, there are me, yohan, eunsang, jinhyuk, seungwoo, dongpyo

While in group 2, there are soyeon, minha, junho, yunseong and hyeongjun.

"Okay so before this we have decided one song which is NCT Boss, and I think it's better to let group 1 who has most guys take this song right? And I heard that y/n learnt this song before so it shouldn't be difficult for us to dance." Soyeon and Minha nod since this song requires a lot of energy and low key voice, so it suits guys more.

"Emm sunbaenim" I suddenly raise up my hand making all looking at me.

Jinhyuk nods, signaling me to continue, "I learnt boss before but can I switch to group 2? I wanna challenge a different thing"

I can literally feel my words make Eunsang and Yohan drop their jaw onto the floor. I feel guilty because I have to leave yohan alone with others guys who he still doesn't get along with, and also Eunsang, I know he really wanna be at the same group with me"

"Can I change group too hyung?" Eunsang raises his hand too, making yohan follows, just like kids fight for food.

"Y/N I can agree with you, but eunsang and yohan I'm sorry lol you have to stay. So y/n you shall switch with junho perhaps? I think his style quite suits our theme"

"So let's talk about boss first, who can rap?" Jinhyuk, being the leader says

Silence fills the studio as no one talks, we all hold the paper which written with boss lyrics. All of us look at the paper and don't talk about single word.

Yohan looks at the lyrics and suddenly rap for the rap part

"Oh? Yohan you know rap!" Jinhyuk's eyes sparkle, smiling as like he sees hope.

"Woah you know rap? How come I don't know?!" I slap yohan's arm slightly, and he scratches his neck.

"I...Don't know...either"

"Yohan ah be the main rap! Hyung will help you in rapping. You will rap well!" Jinhyuk, being sitting at yohan's side urges him. (Literally same scene as in produce x 101)

Yohan hesitates and then nods.

After all the discussion, we begin to have a bit of practice on the song. Since I'm in group 2 so our group practise by our own while others learn the boss choreography from jinhyuk.

Oh didn't I tell you? Our group chose to dance Shape of you by Ed Sheeran, remix version.

I'm taking the role of sub-vocalist in the group, and this song doesn't really have many parts of singing so we focus more on the choreography.

"Guys see you again ya! Goodnight!" We say goodbyes to each other as all of them leave the studio already.except me and yohan.

It's almost midnight. I promise yohan that I'll teach him choreography so here we are.

"Actually this song isn't that hard to learn just you have to catch the tempo, some of the choreo are repeated. So for this part, you have to like this.." I dance step by step for yohan to follow me. Yohan has zero basic about dancing so he needs to practise more than anyone else. I feel sorry for him since I'm the one who drag him together with us for the competition. So no matter how hard I need to teach him, I can't argue and can't complain. And, I'm enjoying this little moment too.

After a while, we decide to rest for a while. I sit beside yohan and drink water, same as him. I put aside the bottle and lay down looking at the ceiling.

Yohan follows me and lays beside me

"Sorry, you have to teach me the dance"

"It's not the first time tho yohan, don't mind it" yes it's not the first time I teach yohan dance because we used to dance for our prom night at highschool too.

"Still thankyou so much. Even it's not the first time but I still feel like I'm bothering you"

"Actually you get things well. You learn fast even just now the choreography you have already known how to dance" I look to my side, seeing yohan's side profile. He's indeed handsome, "and remember what, you are the centre when we were performing at high school!"

"Well, that's because I lost in the bet lol" yohan laughs looking at me, making my face heat up.

I look up at the ceiling again laughing, soon the studio becomes silent.

"I miss those time" I speak and I can see yohan nodding in the corner of my eye.

"Me too, even at that time we are forced to dance, we had fun together with our gangs"

"But avenoir is not going to happen" remembering back many old memories making me emotionally. I sigh and sit up,

"Let's go back, it's late already"
