"How are you feeling Home?" Bruno asked
Home is in the dog's room laying in a bed.
"I'm feeling good, not just good but clean! This place is huge!" Home said
"I'm happy you're okay." Felicia said
"Really?" Home asked sarcastically
"Why are you sick?" Max asked
"Some sort of fever or blood loss. I don't care, I'm inside Dog hospital!" Home said
"We are very happy your okay." Bruno said
"Where is your friend chinese hairless dog?" Home asked
"He left. His owner picked him up." Felicia said
"Oh well good for him." Home said
A nurse came "Okay dogs, get out. Home needs his medication." The nurse said
"See you later Home." Bruno said
"Bruno, have you seen Billy?" Felicia asked
"Come to think of it, no. I haven't seen Billy today." Bruno answered
"Oh I know! Today is his owner pick up." Felicia said
"Wait, what?" Bruno asked
"Can't you remember? He told us at the food court." Felicia said
"Does that mean he left already? I hope not." Bruno asked
"I don't know, we should ask May or Max." Felicia answered
In the foodcourt, Max is having his lunch.
"Hey Max!" Bruno greeted
"Oh hi." Max said
"Max, have you seen Billy?" Felicia asked
"Billy?" Max asked
"Billy? Yes Billy, where is he?" Bruno asked
Max says "What..."
"Anyways, tell May and Billy to go to the dog's room including you. We'll be there with Home, okay?" Bruno said
"Wait a minute! Bruno, Felicia!" Max said
"What?" Felicia asked
"You really don't know?" Max asked
"What do we don't know?" Bruno asked
"Billy is... well..." Max murmured
"Is what?!" Bruno exclaimed
"Billy is gone." Max answered
"Good for him, I already miss him. Hope he comes back." Bruno said
"No. He is gone." Max said
"This isn't funny Max." Felicia said
"What's not funny?" Bruno is confused
"Max... what. Really?" Felicia asked
"He didn't told you." Max said
Felicia leaves the food court crying.
"I don't understand." Bruno is confused
"He is 13 yearsold." Max leaves the food court.
Bruno sees May in the outside garden.
"Hey May." Bruno said
"Hi Bruno." May said back
"Is it true?" Bruno asked
"Yes." May answered
"He didn't told us. Me and Felicia." Bruno said
"He didn't want you to get hurt, both of you." May said "Billy was in this hospital for a month, before I was even appointed here. I hated it here, but then there's Billy.
He is so friendly to all the other dogs. But when he becomes friends with them, they get picked up by their owners."
"Where is his owner?" Max asked
"Billy's owner is already gone. Billy and his owner were supposed to stay here together, play here together, nap. In short, Billy's owner had a heart attack and he keeps saying to me that people have longer lifespan than us dogs but what happened to his owner was complete opposite.
He told me once that it's better to be gone first than to stay for grief.
Billy and I talked at the cafeteria, told me that you were so much like him back then, that he also had an old friend.
People come and people go. Or dogs come and dogs go." May said
"Billy was a good friend. Because of him, I start to love it here." Max said "Where is he?" Max asked
"He's here. Buried in the garden." May said
Felicia and Max came
"I just wished he could've told us. Told me, I wish I could've said goodbye." Felicia said
Bruno says "Me too."
