Gamzees POV

I visited Pugal as much as I could over the past week, they had put her in a medical enduced coma. One reason was so she wouldn't be so violent and the second reason was so whatever drug was in her system could cycle out of her system. I was holding her hand currently wile I was reading a book to myself, I just wanted to spend every moment I could with her till she can come home.

I stopped reading as I felt Pugals hand squeeze mine, I looked at her hand before looking up at her lightly scared face. She wore a soft smile though her eyes showed pain, I couldn't help but to smile back as I put my book down. "D0 the v0ices ever st0p?" She asked as I sadly shook my head no she sighed before she started sitting up. "WhOw WhOw SlOw DoWn ThErE LiL mOmMa, yOu'Ve BeEn OuT fOr A wIlE I DoN't WaNt Ya To HuRt YoUrSeLf." My tone was calm yet held some caution as I had one arm in front of her and other behind to help her sit up. She swated my hands away before griping her head in pain 'sHeS sTiLl GoInG tHrEw WiThDrAlS?' I thought to myself as she layed back down still griping her head and clenching her jaw, I had figured this would happen but I didn't know what to do about it other than call in a nurse. When the nurse came in Pugals only response was to hiss at her making her jump, not from fear but simply from not expecting it. "I see you are awake miss ufiik how do you feel ?"
"Like shit, fuck 0ff" she spat
"ShEs JuSt TrYiNg To HeLp TrY tO cAlM dOwN" I said as I placed my hand on her shoulder only for her to swat it off immediately.
"d0nt t0uch me" she said quietly as she looked away,her heart rate had increased slightly when I had touched her. It was clear that she had some trauma, it pained me to know that it wasn't going to go away ever.
"You seem to be in pain, could you tell me what kind?" The nurse asked as she had Pugals imfo in her hand so she could right down her symptoms.
"A massive fucking headache and I feel like I'm burning fr0m the inside 0ut" her tone was angry but I had summed it up to the pain.
"Do you have any other symptoms?"
"D0 an0ying as fuck v0ices c0unt?" apparently it was since the nurse wrote it down "your doctor will come shortly in the mean time would you like some food? something to drink?" Pugal shook her head no as she layed on her side facing my direction and staring out the window next to my head 'ShEs TrYiNg To AvOiD eYe CoNtAcT' I thought to myself wile the nurse left.

Pugals POV

I was looking at Gamzee without actually looking at him, I didn't want to see whatever upset emotion he was feeling. "PuGaL" I looked at Gamzee fully when he said my name and I was surprised to see a smile on his face and joy in his eyes. I ended up staring into his beautiful purple eyes until the doctor came to check on my physical condition as well as a detective for a reason I have yet to know.

Both the doctor and detective left with the info they needed leaving me in silence with Gamzee, it wasn't an awkward silence more of a comforting silence. The voices in my head were like soft whispers at the moment, it was releaving not knowing what they were saying. I looked over at Gamzee who was reading a book "what are y0u reading?" I asked as he looked up at me "iTs CaLlEd WhItE cRoW iTs By SoMe GuY NaMeD mArKuS sEdGwIcK" he said before he showed me the cover. I nodded a little bit out of fascination "what was h0me like when I was g0ne?"

"iT wAsNt ThAt GoOd, FoR mE iT wAs HeLl FoR kArBrO iT wAs DiFfiCulT. wE eNdEd Up TaKiNg TuRnS wAtChInG aNd WaItInG fOr YoU wHeN yOu DiDnT cOmE hOmE tHaT nIgHt" I sqeezed his hand catching his attention as a small smile graced his lips "iM hApPy YoU wErE fOuNd" he said as he gently sqeezed my hand back "gamzee" my voice sounded as if i was about to cry as clear tears started to blur my vizion "take me h0me"
