Fred wakes up from sleep and it is 9 am.He quickly gets up and talks with his mother with his phone,and quickly goes to his work.
He works as a junior it worker at Smith IT.While working he sees that a really big breach has happened at The San Francisco Science Lab and many scientists have gone missing.He gets much tensed as his friends work there too.So he goes at the spot leaving his meeting in a rush which unfortunately costs his job and finds out all of his friends except his once classmate and friend Jake,only one to be present there among the persons who are not vanished.
He talks with Jake about what happened and he replies that,"I was in the bathroom solving my Rubix cube,suddenly something blew up from the upper side,I thought it was my stomach,but it was the wall!"Fred gets really scared and goes to Roy,he calms Fred down and as Fred brought the Chemical asked by him.Roy takes it and says that he will finish his father's and his late uncle's unfinished work.
Meanwhile,Jake is the only one remaining to take over the job of the disappeared persons at higher posts.Leaving him to be greedy as the technologies in the labs are capable of many big things and impressing his love interest,Jenny Rox,The Long Love of Fred.
