Dixie pov
It was evening, the moon and the stars were out. I thought to myself, as I walked around the village. The village was lit up by the touches, they had light up to light the way. Than one of the apes, had seen us and he had a sign to me and joe , " take you to cesar" he said and i nodded and I follow him. There he lead us to area there was cesar, their king and their leader he had asked. Me to come to dinner and tell my story to cesar, I was nervous I had heard the story's or the escape of cesar and what he had done.
I took another breath deeply, as I got closer to where cesar , was at i was there before him. He stood up, he greeted me " hi...come...join ...us...deer meat" I nodded as I sat down next to him and joe sat near me. He is very kind to us i thought as we were handed wooden bowls there was the vegetables and cooked deer meat. I started to eat from being hungry from a long day of traveling . as I did, he spoke " i ...heard ... of...you...Dixie....freeing...apes...helping ...them...escapeing "
He said, his voice, he sounded like he was thankful for me and what I had done. For the apes, " yeah...i always wanted to help apes, it was my dream even before the outbreak" i had told him before took another bite of the deer meat. " when the outbreak happens, I left home, and i went helping apes. I met joe, he was caught in a trap. And i free him, and ever since he had not left my side and we just been freeing apes and helping them. How did hear of me ?" I asked him before taking another bite of the deer meat.
" apes...whom...you ...free...here ...told me..." he said than he took a breath of air. Before speaking once more, " they ...are...thankful...i....am. Thankful ...for ...you...i ..your...welcome...here" he told me I smiled when he said that. After he had little talk with each other, we finished the dinner, when i went to leave " ...in...morning ...give...you...tour...of ...the...village" I nodded " yes, i would love that " i said that before I left the area and headed to the treehouse we were invited to stay at for the time being.
