This could not be happening, after you had divorced HIM, HE has the audacity to go for your daughters custody after you had been merciful enough to not go there and keep it shared.

But no, no more mercy.

You thought to yourself as you walked towards the door of the print and copying room.

That room was kind of like your place to blow off steam, and because of the whole stress situation of the divorce and now THAT.

You felt your eyes prickling with tears.

And no one could see that, you're the boss y/n god damn it, the big boss.

After a good twenty minutes of you copying stuff and crying in silence, you heard the heavy door creak open.

"What?" You hissed as you turned around, ready to pounce the person who dared to interrupt your lonely crying session.

"Oh" you quickly wiped the tears of your face when you realized who interrupted you "jeongguk".

You cleared your throat "I'm sorry, i didnt mean to scare you" you apologized.

His wide eyes shrinking again, but now a frown of concern adorning his incredibly and unnessecairily handsome face.

That was one of the first things you had noticed before employing him, and afterwards feeling bad for not noticing his intelligence or fast learning skills first.

"Miss l/n, are you okay?" His hand softly grazed your shoulder when you turned your side to him.

You forced a quick smile on your face but when you looked into his warm eyes as he looked down at you with such empathy, you broke down again.

"I cant do it jeongguk" you sobbed into your hands as well as into your copies.

"Oh" he quickly shut the door again and was smarter than you, and locked it.

"Come over here" he softly guided you to the small steps of stairs inside the room, which extended the room of copiers, fax machines and printers.

Sitting down beside him, he gingerly placed his hand on your upper back, wanting to comfort you but obviously trying to bot overstep your boundaries.

"We can talk if you like" he said softly.

"I really dont want to bother you with my problems" you shook your head as you wiped under your eyes.

"I dont mind, really" you locked eyes as you turned your head to him.

"I divorced my husband and now he's coming for the custosy of my daughter" you sighed.

"Oh shit" he said before quickly apologizing.

"Its okay" you haf to smile through your tears.

"Was he the guy that stormed out of your office like two weeks ago?" He asked carefully.

"So you did hear everything, great" you sighed "but yeah, that was him"

"I'm sorry i didnt mean to intrude but-"

"Its not your fault, everyone knows whats going on, we literally screamed at each other" you fiddled with the rings on your fingers and tried to ignore the way his hand had dropped lower subconsciously.

The way he drew little circles in the fabric of your tight dress.

"I just didnt want you to witness something like that" you confessed.

"Why?" He frowned slightly when you met his dark eyes, before your eyes dropped to his rosy lips, quickly blinking and looking away.

"Because- well you told me how much you look up to me and i dont want to dis-"

"Dont finish that sentence" he said somewhat sternly.

"You are so great" he placed his other hand on your knee "if anything i am afraid to didappoint you and not hnonir this chance that you gave me, but dont think you're not a good role model just cause you have problems" he said softly.

Your eyes flickered up at his again "but this is not a very role-modely situation right now" you chuckled lighlty, he reciprocated.

"No, its not, its a very human situation. And thats fine too" your lips tugged upwards at his words.

"Thats what i want to see" he grinned and rubbed your back, making you giggle.

"So" he spoke up after a minute of silence "lets get to copying?" He wiggled his brows funnily, at which you let out a snort laugh.

"Tell me" he broke the silence again after a few minutes after you had each positioned yourselves at a copier next to each other "why does the boss copy her own stuff, and doesnt give it to someone like me for instance" he grinned.

You laughed, delighted at his easy going humor and ability to make you completely forget about what you had just cried about for almost an hour.

"I dont know, i kind of like it" you admitted sheepishly, laughing again when he looked at you in disbelief.

"It keeps me grounded, i dont know its stupid" you shook your head smilingly.

"No its not, i get it, a break from all the heavy weight stuff huh?" He guessed.

"Yea, that and when i do it myself, i know it'll turn out the way i want, not just with the copying but you know...in every way of life" you chuckled softly.

"Oh wow, okay" he nodded, typing something on the digital keypad of the printer next to the copier.

"At some point, every woman starts to rely on herself rather then someone else to get her shit done" you trailed off, as you folded some papers.

"Thats true" he started "i feel like every woman should be able to get her stuff done on her own but she shouldnt have to" you looked over at him, curious for his opinion.

"What do you mean?" You asked  couriously.

"I mean, women give so much, especially mothers. They just give and give and never expect anything in return, and people do take advantage of that, especially men.
So i feel good when i can just tale one thing off their shoulders even ifnits really small" he explained.

"Why do i feel like you know what you're talking about?" You asked quitely, at which he smiled shyly, not looking up at you.

"Yea, my father left when i was 3" he nodded.

"Oh, im sorry" he looled up at you.

"Its okay, it made me very aware of how not to be if i become a father one day" he mumbled, shooting you a shy smile that had your heart skip a beat.

You smiled back at him warmly, hoping that your expression could deliver more feelings than words, because in situations like this, you were bad with those.

"You're a good man jeongguk" you said as you gathered your papers and started walking past him, towards the door.

Before passing him you laid you hand on his tricep from behind him, making him turn to you more.

"Every woman would be lucky to have you as their childrens father" you said softly, smiling when he blushed a little and pushed his dark hair that fell into his right eye, away.

"Thank you ms l/n" he said quietly, you chuckled.

"After all of this? Jeongguk I'm y/n" you held out your hand playfully, he took it and shook it softly, playing along.

"Nice to meet you" he grinned.

"Dont think this will help you get the good cases now, jeon" you said to him as you left the room.

"Of course not boss" he winked again, making you smile to yourself like an idiot.
