Everything started when she was five. I thought she was going through a phase because she was young , but then she got really quiet. Sometimes I would question her silence. It scared me really but I was happy she didn't misbehave like the other children I've seen.
All of a sudden everything started getting worse. Well Hope as a kid always had imaginary friends. It didn't scare me until now. A couple of months ago my father died. It was hard for the family and I. She was only ten years old. Her brother Tyrrell was 4yrs older than her. Since her and her brother didn't get along well Hope grew lonley. She got a new imaginary friend. She said his name was Jonny, but this Jonny boy wasn't very nice.
It was the one month before my father died. Thanksgiving to be more like it. We were all saying what we were thankful for. Then Hope said I'm thankful for Jonny. Then my dad Sean asked her what about her family. Then Hope said Jonny said he doesn't like you. Her brother Tyrrell started laughing and said so why can't we see or hear him stupid. I told them to both cut it out. Hope ran up stairs. I got up to go take care of it but my father told me to sit down and that he'll handle it.
It was about ten minutes later. Everybody grew worried. My mom Higgins told me to go check on them. I walked up stair cautiously towards Hope's room. As I opened the door I couldnt believe my eyes.
