“i know, wait up!”

chaos rummaged all throughout the house as xingwei and chunyang get ready for their class.

“kids, it's still 6:45 am.” guan yue tried to calm down the kids, but much to his dismay, the chaos got louder.

“bUT GE, OUR CLASS STARTS AT 7!”

“THERE'S 15 MINUTES LEFT!”

“CALM DOWN!” hanyu yelled, making the two flinch, but that was replaced by happiness when wenhan offered to drive them off to school.

“kids, let me just drive you. it'll be faster than running.”

“YAAAAAAY!” they both cheered in unison as they ran inside the car, but xingwei's presence suddenly disappeared into thin air, nowhere to be found, her things dropped and left unattended.

what happened?

i was just running to go to wenhan-ge's car, but now i'm chasing a blue ball. it just looks ordinary, but it keeps telling me to follow the ball. now, i'm going to be late for class.

“don't run, xingwei. even if you run, you still have a long way to go.” the ball warned.

“and now you're talking to me? mind to tell me why i am here also?” i tried to act sassy, but failed due to my fidgeting fingers. i slowed up my pace, and just walked to follow the ball.

“lay-ge told me to bring you to our base.” base? what is he saying?

i inquired, “how do i know if we're really there?” i'm still confused, i'm late for class, and i still have homework to pass.
